Yeah Kent sterling said they wouldn’t have a press conference for a change in employment status, just a press release. The Press conference would happen when a new coach is hired. Would honestly love to see him in the BIG just for the simple fact he wouldn’t take **** from the good ol boys and might actually get some things changed if he did have some success. I am an Archie fan too, Always have been. I thought he would do well here but it’s not the case. I think he is a good person and has represented the university well. Unlike the last two coaches there has been no off the court controversies and he has recruited great kids. But in the end He has failed here on the court. Miserably. I will always root for him, just will be a lot easier to root for him as a coach of another team. It’s time for him to go. If he is back I will support him, but like most I will not expect anything different than what we have seen. It will take a Major turnaround next year for me to think he deserves to coach here. I wouldn’t be surprised to see actual protests outside assembly hall if they say Archie will be back. I don’t like Gregg Doyel, but he is correct. Oh yeah Mussleman did a tremendous job there. His teams were much better than Alford's, especially defensively. I was kidding about those numbers fitting our program.

Nevada Under Alford per kenpom: Year 1: 85 Year 2: 86 Honestly that fits right in with our trend as a program.
