I'll bite.. Hartman is a senior, OG likely gone. McSwain and now JSmith. Add in JMo and Wilkes and that's four good players for two positions. If Wilkes commits he'll get his lions share of the minutes.
Durham seems like that guard you bring along slowly and then could be a lock down defender. My only issues with Durham is bringing in Green and CuJo after his commitment, Green more so than CuJo. If I remember correctly.
Vonleh would have been perfect with another big like Zeller, Bryant, or Fischer... Watford pretty much played on the wing his last two seasons minus those games he played the 5 when Zeller was on the bench.
I just have that feeling that there is a logjam at the guard position. I think there will be a guard, besides JBJ, that transfers out after this coming season. That will be two spots at the guard, Hartman (maybe), OG, and Bryant. There will be roster turnover.
My biggest concern with this class is a big. JSmith at the 4 doesn't concern me, McSwain and JMo at the 4 doesn't concern me. Wilkes at the 4 concerns me.
Because it was within 10 yards of the first down marker..? I know these players and the overall game is much faster but officiating in general has been poor.
It's not often that one player completely loses a game but Lagow never gave us a chance to win. Two INTs that were thrown too hard and too high, another that was tossed to centerfield, one that was thrown while being hit, and can't remember the other. Those along with the penalties should have had IU down by 30. That can't happen against any B1G team or we'll lose.
Liked the play call there but would have liked it to be a little more fluid in getting it called and setup. Regardless, only down 6 after what We've done to ourselves is solid. Let's shut them down in the fourth and put up a few more scores!!
