I'm confused by Albers' comment. He's saying fans wouldn't want to attend games because there's been arrest? So if we're going by that then people shouldn't attend..... most sporting events, concerts and other musical events, town events, school events, etc.

The difference could be in Northwestern and Ole Miss featuring him vs. end of rotation player at IU. I'm not all in on the kid being the caliber of Williams or Jackson. However, he could play a role in the team.

That's kind of my point. CMoore might be able to have A game that caliber but can't he do it consistently? I have my doubts. There are other examples of a player outshining Zeller for a game but not many doing it for an entire season. And that's the reference to the "poor man's ...." While Moore might be able to shoot, handle, and defend on the perimeter I don't see him doing it at the speed of Williams or Jackson Jr. My issue isn't so much with CMoore alone but not having an idea of what big will be playing the 5. If we land CMoore as our only "big" (same would have been said about Williams or Jackson to an extent) we will have issues meeting expectations in 2017-2018.

Here it goes... wasn't it 20 and 12 just a few hours ago? AJ Hammons dropped 30, 5, and 5 on Zeller, did that make Hammons a better player than Zeller? I've said there's a place on the roster for him. That role would see him getting solid minutes as a freshman. However, if he's seeing significant minutes at the 4 or backing up the 5 for long stretches (DD in foul trouble) IU will not be where we should be.

Agree with a lot of that. However, if DD and Moore are the only "bigs" on the roster next season we won't have the season we would expect to have at IU. He seems like a poor mans Malik Williams. There's a place on the roster for him but not as the backup 5.

Man, the INT was on him. There was another pass he completed that should have been intercepted. He also had a d-lineman hanging on his leg as he made that throw. I guess he could just receive the snap and curl into a ball. He hasn't been great with turnovers but the line hasn't done much to help.

I'm a casual Colts fan so not sure where I fall in line here but how does Luck get blamed for the fumble? It would be like you getting trucked by a driver on a street that was supposed to be blocked. Yeah, you should kind of be looking out but dude just went through the barrier at 60. Doesn't make much sense to me.

I would feel comfortable with Preston's basketball ability but not being eligible. Gak would be a solid backup to DD for a year or two.

Maybe a little, maybe some grateful we missed on a lower rated recruit. I don't think it would be a huge deal if missed on him. I do believe he has some upside as a stretch 4 that could create mismatches, as long as he could defend the post.

I would love a Maximus 2.0 to transfer to IU for 2017-2018 along with signing one of these lower rated bigs but that's extremely difficult to do. I know IU has gone after several transfer bigs but has only been able to land one.

Having fans blow up about something they don't know and "having hell to pay" are different things to me. If you meant some will question how we lost this recruit, I agree. I don't think "the powers that be" will be giving the staff hell for not landing Moore.

If we "lose" Moore because we land Bamba or Preston... Recruiting is so much more than "that team has tradition unlike the rest. I'll go there." I thought we would know this by now. He's close to his family. What happens if he wants to stay close to home and play for his hometown school? There's going to be hell to pay because he wants to stay home? That's just sophomoric thinking.

Agree, DD and another post player in addition to Moore. However, he'll need to add muscle and be able to defend fours in college. How many 6-10 guys in college don't play at least a little inside?
