I’m a teacher on spring break this week. Let’s roll with an announcement this week.

That’s one of the reasons I wish the plug would have been pulled in February.

As much as a drag as this season has been for me, I’m beyond excited to see the roster take shape over the next three months, or however long it takes.

I can see your point. I did this exercise with my son about three weeks ago and names have changed places since then. Every time I do this I keep coming back to the same bottom line, I won’t shed a tear over any of these guys if they leave.

Guys I would like to see what the new coach could do with: Rice, Reneau, Tucker. Guy I’m 50/50 on (leaning toward no though): Carlyle. Guys I’m okay being end of the bench guys for whatever reason: Cupps & Newton “Thanks for the memories”: Mgbako Having said all that, there is not one player on this team I’d lose any sleep over if they left.

He didn’t even play in the scrimmage at Hoosier Hysteria. I was just thinking the other day the fact that James has never played doesn’t get laughed at more.

Sigh, this will be the most relevant bracket to me this year.

I think we should go all high tech and be the leader in the future of the coaching industry and have some programmers create an AI coach for us. *. He would work cheap. *. No off the court issues. *. Wouldn’t have to worry about his Alma mater or the NBA calling. *. He’s do all the coach’s shows. *. He could coach forever, or at least until an upgrade was created. *. Wouldn’t blame the fans. *. Could actually get us over the hump.

The Crown tournament, yes. Maybe the king can get his crown before it’s all said and done.

I thought I read that if/when we miss the NCAA tournament, this new Fox sponsored tournament in Las Vegas was the most likely destination. It seems like there might be some conference tie ins with it so we might get some pressure to play than we would with the NIT.

I posted a question in a similar vein on HSN. Basically I asked, if we hire a sitting college coach would we prefer A. A deep March run to build up his profile for future recruits, but we wait longer B. He loses early, but we get him early to start portaling. With this we potentially hear about his poor performance in March ad nauseum I 100% quoted the wrong post on this response.

I’m not one of those make my own list type of guys, but if I was, he’d be on it, not number one but somewhere.

Well what he is saying makes more sense than anything I heard from Woody in one of those all season.

I posted some at Peegs under my initials. I've posted here and on HSN for years under my current name. I usually just read here more than I post, but that's because this board.moves so much faster that by the time I catch up.on a thread, what I would have to say has generally already been said by someone else, usually one of the smarter posters. :).

If you would have asked me 1000 times which of the 360+ division one schools would be the most likely to create unnecessary drama while trying to make what should be a simple announcement, I would have said IU 1000 out of 1000 times without blinking.

There was a day in the past where it was just one. I don’t even remember how it all ended up as two, but there are posters I enjoy interacting with and respect on both. There are posters who annoy the living crap out of me on both too.

We are now on page 1987 of this thread, which is year of our last national championship.
