2018 Huber Winery Event
HoosierHoops1 replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Chris007 alluded to the fact that he "might not wait for us". Perhaps that means he wants to decide before we determine if there's a spot here. -

And, as coach Miller said last night, He wishes he would have started playing McRoberts a little sooner, and we may have won a couple more games. -
I agree with Virginia!

I guess we would have to see how serious he was, before we made any moves on that front. -
Or Race.

I think another factor in his transferring is that they changed their style of play to something that didn't fit his skill-set as well. He wanted to get on a team that was much more aligned with the way he likes to play the game. He wants a team that is a little less Virginia on offense.

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/23584806/how-college-basketball-free-agency-shaping-up May 24, 2018 John GasawayESPN Insider Transfers are, for lack of a better term, the free agents of college basketball. Coaches who sign transfers gain the added advantage of having seen what these players can do against Division I competition. Players, typically, make the jump in search of more playing time. It's win-win, when it works. There's a good chance it could indeed work out well in the following instances. Here are the 15 impact transfers to watch in 2018-19: Evan Fitzner, Indiana Hoosiers Previous team: Saint Mary's A two-year starter in Moraga, Fitzner chose to go the graduate transfer route for his final season after being relegated to a reserve role for most of 2017-18. At 6-10, he's a career 41 percent 3-point shooter (with an average of about three attempts per game) who holds his own on the defensive glass.

(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

He said that previously though, right? Or in reference to this new rumor today? EDIT: I know it's an old rumor, but it seems to have new legs today. -
https://www.sbnation.com/college-basketball/2018/5/30/17408952/reid-travis-transfer-kentucky-basketball-stanford-nba-draft BOOOO! Travis will transfer from Stanford, according to Evan Daniels of 247 Sports. Daniels reports Kentucky is the “strong favorite” to land Travis, though he notes it isn’t a done deal yet. Villanova is also involved, according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman. This is a potentially huge move that could make Kentucky the national title favorites if a few other things fall their way.

Many of the workout videos we saw were from the 5 weeks between the end of the season and the end of the semester. We've been getting snippets of guys working out with their own trainer before they arrive. I think the freshman are slated to arrive in 2-3 weeks. I think Romeo said he was heading to Btown the Tuesday after the all-star games.

Juwan Morgan RETURNING For Senior Season

I don't know, but I wonder if your name, popularity, selling points, as in "All B1G 1st team" has any bearing on contract value in Europe? Meaning, even if you never get drafted or make an NBA team, do hardware, awards and name recognition influence how large a foreign contract might be or how good of a league you can play in? Might be worth a chunk to come back for. He's "undraftable" now. His skills aren't going to get worse, but his "value" might get better. -
Coach Mallory passing away, was the biggest, toughest occurrence. He had a a fall and emergency surgery was unsuccessful. IU Basketball-wise, probably haven't missed anything. Juwan hasn't announced a return or not, 2 1/2 days left. Vic was named all nba 2nd team and 1st team all defense. That's pretty much it, I think.

I was hoping that was the case after seeing Hanner score about 4 against Bloomington South, but it wasn't.
