I find it very fascinating our resident Moren hater/doubter has been awfully quiet this season.

I’ve always wondered if that was a parent of a player receiving little PT.

If I remember correctly the old Knight teams in the late 80s/early 90s used to make more free throws than their opponents attempted.  That tidbit always hung with me for whatever reason.

IU 50-33 end of Q3. Rough quarter but we were 11-11 on FTs.

Many, many top teams lose their top few players each year.
Big leaps from others? Not necessary. Consistent progression by quality four year players such as Phin, Al, Justin, Jerome, DeRon, Race, Damezi, maybe Jake and Clifton?
You betcha.

Solid win on the road in conference. It wasn’t pretty but the boys got it done. I HATE the Big Ten. The game went almost the way I figured it would. PSU might not be skilled but they always play hard. That manifested itself into 30,000 foul shot, odd... I’m still not worried about this team or what Arch and Co. can and will do. Phinisee is figuring out what he can and can’t do in college and the conference, this will be huge later on. Ditto for Romeo. I’m glad we’re getting some wins early in the conference while we’re still struggling. It’s better to win ugly than lose. Period.

How in the hell do the refs miss so much trash and still continue reffing. It’s almost like that is the way they’re being instructed to call games...

Totally agree about Clifton.We need him  to be s rim protector.He has it in him.

I come here after a win versus a team that was favored against us on the road, and see almost more negativity than anything else... Yeesh. 

I just don't know what to think about this team. We did just take out the #8 defense on the road. But, Romeo not touching the ball for so many stretches is mind boggling. I don't know if he's fading away from the ball due to his unassuming nature at times. Then he turns it on... I dunno, he needs set plays ran for him but he also didn't convert on several attempts in the 2nd. 
 
And I fully trust Archie for not playing Clifton. Archie has to know way more than us. Then he comes in for a few and has to have a huge plus(minus) on the game. He did nothing wrong and basically did everything right and knocked down a throw. I don't want him playing in the tight fame but he doesn't play when we are up 14 in the 2nd? I dunno dog, he was totally altering shots too. I might be switching teams on the Clifton front if he plays like that again. If we're going to let Devonte and Smith make bone headed plays, then let Clifton screw up some for some experience and bear us fruit later.
