    Those are a couple of longtime IUFB targets right there.

    And there is a correlation. There are plenty of guys that are just as good in the 2 and 3 star range, and there are a few coaches here and there who are really good at picking them and and getting them signed. Overall, if you can get a class that is heavy on 4 stars. it will generally show dividends on the field and in your record.

    All right, gotta say it. The B1G looks pretty bad this year. I've had that ticking around in the back of my head all season, but its really starting to come to life. WTF Iowa?

    Happy New Year's all! Typically, I slept through it and still found it to be a new year when I woke up!

    I don't know who will be on the O-line next year, but I have to admit, as long as Greg Frey is the O-line coach, I'm pretty confident.

    I'm tempted to say its because he doesn't really fit into any model of any particular position.

    Seems like I've read that he may be used in a number of different capacities RB, Receiver, TE. Its a wonderful problem to have.

    Actually, as far as I know, no extension has been announced. Just that there are negotiations going on.

    Not sure he has a "inability to stay healthy". First injury was a high ankle sprain that happened while he was blocking, just a football injury. Not quite sure what the second was, otherwise than a knee. I don't think that's a matter of injury prone. If he comes back next year and it the same story, might have to look at it a bit different.

    Kinda figured that. And yes any way you cut it the number of big plays given up have plagued IU all season. And even BlueDevil appeared to be pulling for IU at the end.

    Yeah, I'm on the side at this point that our D coaches are not playing the schemes they would prefer, but based on the available talent. It involves taking extra risks at times, and sometimes that just leaves some crap wide open. Really hoping we add some more LB and DB's in this class who have some talent and speed.

    I am not even going to screw with you. I never see you post anything except negatives, and now your talking coaching changes in a post-game thread. If you want to change coaches talk about it in that thread, leave it out of game and post-game threads.
