  1. And the fact we saw some of the same problems his Knicks teams had doesn't suggest he has much ability or desire to change how he does things.
  2. And the Yankees haven't won it all since 2009, and didn't make the playoffs last year.
  3. And he's being brought back. I have to laugh at the Earth shattering stupidity of it otherwise I'd cry.
  4. And not having enough guards was part of a master plan to revolutionize the game with a 5 centers offense.
  5. Don't underestimate IU leadership, calling them a clown show is an insult to clowns. That being said I wouldn't be at all surprised if they want to being him back after anything but a total dumpster fire of a season.
  6. To be fair, it's hard to get much lower than having zero recruits.
  7. Mike Woodson is looking forward to seeing how Gavin feeds the post next year.
  8. You forgot one, he's shown zero ability to clean up the mess the only exists because he caused it.
  9. And a failure to plan is a plan to fail. Which explains the mess Woodson caused.
  10. Don't even put that thought out in the universe. The IU leadership of would actually do it, he was give a a raise an pushed the buyout back a year for what should've been bare minimum expectations.
  11. My advice, do not underestimate how much of a clown show the IU leadership is. They'll look for every excuse to keep him for year 5 unless the season is a total trainwreck.
  12. Yep. Getting blown out in 2 lower bowl games wouldn't matter, and coach X getting 4 years definitely wouldn't.
  13. Toxic doesn't even begin to describe it. There's not a chance leadership even considers bringing that coach back.
  14. Oh I definitely hated the hire, my feelings were made known in the thread for his hire. A 60+ year old with no college experience and hadn't been a HC in almost 10 years, just laughable.
  15. Let's look at SEC football teams then. If a coach is in year 3 and has mishandled the football program this bad, what are the chances he comes back for year 4?
  16. I hated the Woodson hire but felt a little better when Matta and Fife were brought on board. Yeah, that lasted a whole year. Even last year the team looked like it was circling the drain before Jackson Davis called a players only meeting.
  17. And the opposite if love is apathy, fans care enough to be upset. When they don't that's the time to worry about fans. The program is in this position because IU leadership is a clown show. We want to get back to UK, Kansas, etc status we have to start operating like them; which includes not sticking with crappy coaches in the name of stability or because they played here 40 years ago.
  18. With Brayden, Branden, and Branson marked out because he couldn't remember.
  19. Wow, kind of makes IU leadership look somewhat borderline semi competent. Kind of impressive.
  20. Coached the Olympics? Sounds too qualified. No way.
  21. Mike Woodson extension and only a 12m buyout after 6 years.
  22. Mike Woodson was a great IU player 40 years ago, so that must mean he would be a good IU coach. *Woodson shows why he shouldn't have been hired* We have to give him more time, he was a good player 40 years ago and we never fire coaches when we should.
  23. We underestimated just how deeply unserious IU leadership is. Which just means when Woodson is gone, after he retires because how dare they fire him, he'll be replaced with Wittman or Lewis or someone.
  24. If leadership is that much of a clown show (apologies to any clowns reading this) they wouldn't replace Dolson with an experienced and qualified AD. I wasn't big on the Dolson hire, but if this is true it's worse than I thought.
  25. And the more they mess around the closer they get to losing an entire generation of fans.
