My worry is we're stuck with him until he decides he's done because how dare the clown show IU leadership fire a guy that played there over 40 years ago. You know his epitaph would have a 3rd person reference: "Mike Woodson's not going anywhere."

I expect players to say good things about their coach. Letting players decide lead to Mike Davis without a proper search too.

I wouldn't count on that. I fully expect them to look for every excuse imaginable, even if it doesn't make sense, for anything short of a complete disaster of a season.

Yep, unless people are hired for reasons other than the qualifications for the job. Which would mean the administration is an even bigger problem than we already think.

If Dolson wasn't qualified he shouldn't have been hired to begin with. So it's as much an indictment of the process that lead to him as it is of him. I wasn't a fan of the hire to start with so don't take that as a defense of Dolson.

Yes. I've consistently said he should've been fired when he missed the NIT with 2 McDonald's All Americans on the roster, that was 2013-2014. I stand by that too.

Crean had plan A, B, C, all the way through Z. He'd get a recruit even if they'd never seen a basketball.

There are no commitments for the incoming class, that shouldn't be ignored. Personally, Crean should've been fired sooner.

There needs to be a rebuild because of how badly Woodson has mishandled it, he didn't step into a needed rebuild he created it. Sorry, if someone doesn't think that needs fixed they shouldn't be involved in the decision making. He was a great college player over 40 years ago, but cannot manage a program. You damage a program by keeping bad coaches too long. I never said he had to be fired during the season. They announced he's coming back, unless it was BS then they rendered a decision during without scandal.

Bad input produced Mike Woodson and there's a refusal to fix it.

Don't have a complete trainwreck of a season and still be named Mike Woodson.
