    And in his only year as a head coach was 13-69. Buckner hasn't been a winner in many years.

    As poorly run as IU has been, I wouldn't be surprised if they're mainly concerned with keeping Woodson and deal with the fallout later. We shouldn't underestimate just how deeply unserious IU is.

    Well it took 3 years to figure out how much work college coaching is. Galloway had 1 good shooting year in 4, so is that 3 learning years total or does the counter have to start over since he shot well last year?

    Either not capable or semi retired anyway so doesn't give a darn. So instead of fixing the problem IU doubles down. The last 20+ years are because IU leadership is a complete circus. Give added NIL and GM type role to a good coach and see what happens. No, let's do that for a crappy coach so we don't have to fire a guy that played here over 40 years ago.

    Not sure it's an age thing, Pearl is in his 60s and seems to have the energy.

    Woodson needing 3 years to figure out how much work coaching college takes isn't much of a defense IMO. Frankly I think it's just emphasizes that he never should've been hired.

    It only took 3 years and a total collapse. Plus he was a competitive player (ignore that that didn't work so well for him in the NBA). We're totally saved. Plus Armond Hill should wake up from his season long nap (coma?) any day now, his 72-141 record with 0 winning seasons should provide some valuable insight. Yep, everything is fine and totally not at all a dumpster fire.

    Or thinking Woodson the player means jack about Woodson the coach. Good player doesn't equate to good executive or coach.

    Personally I think it's great how he's so insistent on what he thinks Woodson will do, and completely ignores what Woodson has actually shown.
