Yes, but a lot of stats are misleading to some degree. Basketball is a good balance between individual and team, but there are stats that are dependent on your teammates. In a game like football most stats are dependent on the team, despite credited to individuals. Baseball isn't as bad, but that's because it's an individual game masquerading as a team game.

Since this thread is about Hulls, I'll use his latest as an example. The +/- with him on the court tonight was +24, so when he was on the court his team outscored the other by 24 points. If his team got outscored, it would be negative.

+/- is something I've noticed about Hulls. Someone posted the numbers, I think it was last year, and the worst lineup with him on the court had a better +/- than the best lineup without him.

It'd be tough to pull him from Alabama and even FSU, but it'd sure be nice to have another 4* talent on the defensive side of the ball and especially the secondary. I could live with a S duo of Crawford and Allen, so go get him CKW. Hey, we pulled Baker even though he had an offer from Miami, a far more successful program than IU, but it's still not in the realm of a Bama offer (if/when they offer).

This reminded me of a story from when I went to IU. I was getting something to eat at the IMU near Easter, and the cashier told the guy behind me happy Easter and he told her "thanks, even though I'm Jewish".
