I can't say for certain it's true, and I'll believe he's coming when it's announced. I'm not putting much stock in his masshole comment, wouldn't be the first time a coach (at the time anyway) denied interest in a job and left for said job.

I really don't see IU going down that road, which I get. If his issues were solidly behind and he looks like a changed person I could see giving him a chance, considering the nature of his issues I'm skeptical they're behind him.

If the fans can see progress is being made and things are getting better they are patient. Crean didn't lose the fans until it was obvious he'd hit his ceiling, and no one complained about his first 3 years. Miller, the writing was on the wall pretty early. I don't think anyone expects a title or Final Four in year 1 or 2, but the right coach can make a big difference pretty quick.
