    I don't expect Stevens to be coach, any more than I think I'll land a date with Jessica Alba. I can see why some things may be different this time with Stevens. The Celtics are for sale, his contract is expiring, one child is at Notre Dame instead of at home.

    He would've known his contract would be expiring this year. I could see wanting to minimize media questions but being front office he may not have as much media exposure.

    I have zero doubts Beard would win here, he can flat coach. I'd possibly be willing to give him a chance if it was demonstrated that his issues were solidly in the past; but I'm not the one doing the background check and I don't know what else there may be, IIRC it's been said there's issues that haven't become public. IU would never make that call so it's irrelevant.

    Not sure if that account knows anything, but I don't doubt they're aiming higher it's the pulling it off part I'm skeptical of.

    Woodson doesn't deserve to finish the year, didn't deserve to start the year, didn't deserve to be hired. Doesn't deserve a save face retirement. They made the mistake of hiring him, they deserve the black eye of having to fire him.

    I think they were referring to Nigel Pack, he's from Indy. Brady Stevens is a walk on at ND, he'd only be a big transfer because of his dad.

    Eh, the tournament appearances would've gotten year 3 but no raise. It's a moot point, Kentucky wouldn't have given him the time of day to begin with.
