  1. Not true. But what is true is that far more successful programs like UM, Duke, Arizona, etc get first choice.
  2. A first team Big East all defensive team is really nice. Probably be at a bit of a family discount too, which allows for more spending on other needs. As part of the guard rotation?1,000,000% yes for me.
  3. Khobie Martin is starting to give off that Aiden Fisher ‘best dude on the team’ vibe.
  4. Tyler Cherry + Khobie Martin +++++++++!!!!
  5. Very likely that Dorn stays; if Dorn was gone we’d know by now. For me, the intriguing thing about Dorn is that he had the foot fracture and couldn’t train going into last season. Hoping that a full offseason allows him to improve his athleticism.
  6. QB Tyler Cherry appears to be a full participant. Pretty good news.
  7. Granted that Chandler is a Utah native, but it also sure seems like Mark Pope at UK is getting the Woodson treatment: has to overpay to get anyone to say yes to him.
  8. I read somewhere that Chuck and Malone go way, way back. And Malone needs a college-very experienced lead assistant.
  9. Like absolutely nothing has changed or happened for Indiana or for other teams… that we know of.
  10. He played at a Skyy Clark/Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn-level number of high schools. Poor bastard has no idea what state he's currently in, but he knows he's cool with playing for "Transfer." ps: Both Clark and Gibbs-Lawhorn are also in the portal.
  11. Same guy. Still younger than Chad Baker-Mazara and IUFB's new punter.
  12. "THE PHONE HAS NOT STOPPED BUZZING!" *and the bottom has not stopped fuzzing.
  13. Irving Fuzzbottom Position: Point Guard | Height: 6'4" | Weight: 195 lbs Status: Transfer Portal (Junior) Eligibility: 2 Years Remaining Evaluation & Analysis Scouting Summary Fuzzbottom is a high-IQ floor general with prototypical size for the modern game. Standing 6'4" with a wingspan that allows him to play larger than his frame, he excels as a primary initiator who can see over the defense. He is a "pass-first" guard by nature but possesses a polished three-level scoring package that makes him a constant threat in pick-and-roll situations. While not an elite vertical athlete, his change of pace and deceptive footwork allow him to navigate into the paint with ease. Strengths Elite Vision: Possesses advanced spatial awareness; exceptional at hitting shooters in their pocket and finding cutters through tight windows. Size & Frame: His height creates significant mismatches against smaller lead guards, allowing him to post up or shoot over the top of the defense. Pick-and-Roll Proficiency: Displays patience off the screen, consistently making the right read whether it’s a lob, a kick-out, or a floater. Defensive Versatility: Multi-positional defender who can switch 1-through-3. Uses active hands and disciplined positioning to disrupt passing lanes. Areas for Improvement Lateral Quickness: Can occasionally struggle with elite, "twitchy" sub-6-foot guards on the perimeter. Free Throw Consistency: While a capable shooter, improving his efficiency at the charity stripe will be key for closing out tight games.
  14. One to watch (yes; Indiana made the list):
  15. When one adds up all of these players plus the ones that nobody knows about, but are actually viable? We're gonna need a much bigger roster. Your 2026-27 Indiana Hoosiers!
  16. Anspach is a big who was All-A10 Second team! If that isn't a 100% sure thing I don't know what is. ;)
  17. Anyone disparaging Jorge Tomatoes is gonna have to answer to me.
  18. Jorge Tomatoes with breaking news!! @eddy4iu had this pinned down yesterday, and eddy is known to eat salads with plenty of Lettice. hmmmmm...
  19. When such an enormous percentage of quality players are simultaneously in free agency, it's a potential gold mine to correctly time offers and acquisitions. If Ryan Carr is as good at this as he's supposed to be, we can get far better value by timing an early get or two to show the roster's potential, and then wait until the biggest spenders fill key slots. There will be excellent players left on the outside looking in after the Michigan's, UConns, and Duke's pluck their choices. So so much like a fantasy football re-draft league.
  20. BOARD ALERT: We are now in potential meltdown mode if we don't sign Markus Burton! geez Louise, didn't have that on my bingo card!
  21. A pretty strong recruiting strategy. Kinda like a football coach going after any three star that gets offered by Cignetti, and then trying to outbid IU for the kid.
