I don’t disagree at all. But there were games last year where he played very well and his postgame news conferences were more relief than elation. It’s a small thing, but he certainly looked to be enjoying himself. In all the games I went to last year he did not look like that. Pregame, during the game, or even postgame until they left the court. Will it stay that way? I don’t know, but it is was nice to see him enjoying himself for the first time in a couple of years. The one thing I enjoyed most about Justin was his post game news conference. He didn’t look defeated. Last year it was all to much for him and he couldn’t get out of his own way. I don’t expect him to be an 80%+ free throw shooter, but that stroke looked night and day better from the line. He wasn’t getting 15+ feet of arc. He wasn’t aiming the ball. He looked comfortable. Agreed on both points. Man this last year has been crazy for me personally. I have had two grandparents pass, an aunt pass, and a good friend pass. We had dementia with one grandparent that passed and it’s just an agonizing way to go. More for the family, but just awful. Honestly I think it goes back to that recent ESPN article with them talking about kids breaking down so early. The amount of AAU games these kids play prior to college is crazy while their body is developing. It’s almost like in baseball where you expect a pitcher to get Tommy John when drafting them. It’s overuse at a young age. The bones and joints on these kids are like that of a 40 year old man when they are 18. It didn’t used to be that way. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He should be here in 2021. I think our program money wise can compete with anyone if the playing field is even. I think our football program might be hurt by something like this. But basketball wise? This is what they have been doing. The California bill set this in motion. The NCAA lost. They can’t control this any longer. If they try and limit something they aren’t paying out, I don’t see that lasting in court.
