That’s the fun with positionless basketball. There will be a couple of PG. A couple of true bigs. And a lot of wing type players that can play/guard multiple positions. Al can play 1-3. Jerome Hunter can play 2-4. Leal and Galloway will play mostly 2-3 as freshman. Anderson isn’t playing. Lander is a 1-2. Smith is 3-4. TJD is a 4-5. Brunk is a 5. I am with you we need more shooters. My guess is if we go that route they will be a 2-3. Starting next year for a couple of years we will go after bigs and it already started. I guess in 2022 we will go after another big. Completely agree. In my dream scenario where TJD is still here (completely selfish and I will own that) it doesn’t get much better. To have 5* in three straight classes still on the same team and not because they disappointed is absolutely a title contender. Every time I have seen him it’s freakish athleticism with high end skill. He also has a top end motor. The biggest question is his competition. But this kid has that it factor. If he isn’t a star the year he comes in I would be shocked. You add him to a Lander, potentially TJD, a stronger cast of role players than in years past, and I think we got something special to work with here. If TJD isn’t here it could still be special, but he would have to take on a bigger load scoring. I hate asking a freshman to do that. If you add him and Kaufman? 2002 Lakers Mavs game the Lakers came back from 27. I was watching the game at home when my Aunt had a massive heart attack. We got to the hospital just in time for the comeback. One of the weirdest experiences of my life. I had to drive my mom to the hospital to say her goodbyes. I sit in the lobby and watch this all go down. As it went down doctors came to the lobby and explained she is making a miraculous recovery and might actually make it. Within 15 minutes after witnessing a 27 point lead evaporate in the 4th the doctor came out and said he would have given her less than 5% chance to live when she came in and she made it. Mohammed is 1aaa for me. He is the once every few years recruit with a solid core that can take a team to the next level. He is just dominant. He has an attitude I think would mesh with CAM. Wesley would be a fantastic add imo. Great four year get. No shame in that kid. I think he will win games. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

His criticism is due to how stacked his teams were and how they did in the tournament. I am not a fan of that outlook. I think he was a phenomenal recruiter early on. Solid coach. His teams were never cohesive and peaking for the tourney. Once his health started to go he didn’t get the top 10 kids semi regularly he got. They became top 25-40. That’s fair. But I feel as though he hasn’t done as well with his players at OSU versus their rankings. The transfers this year hurt him imo. His best year was his first. With a Senior burger boy. Losing Carton hurts. I really haven’t seen him overachieve yet. Maybe his first year getting them to play cohesively. Matta couldn’t do that. I wouldn’t say I am dismissing them going forward, but they aren’t going to be a top tier team with the roster turnover they are having.
