There are so many problems with our defense but I want to just call out one of them that frustrates me to no end, in the distant hope that a player or two will read it. Several of our guys do it but Colin is the one that most comes to mind. I don’t want to criticize but since the coaches can’t figure this out somebody needs to say it.
When as a team you’ve left a guy wide open for a three point shot, it does absolutely no good to run towards and then past him after he has released the ball. Sprinting towards the sideline with one arm in the air after the fact fools nobody and results in you being, well, out of the play if/when a long rebound opportunity arises. Please, guys, if it’s too late to influence the shot stay in front of the shooter and in the game…rather than running past him and falling out of play. Please, please, please!!!!
