Richardson though has worst at bat of season maybe with three pitch strikeout and lead them loaded. Finally had baserunners last two innings and loaded bases each time but only gotten one run out of it. Still 1-0 after 5.

Second straight clean inning for Bothwell. Big question is can you hang on to the 1-0 for 9 more outs and do you feel any better if team has same issues but wins 1-0? 

Both are big questions where I am not sure answer is yes.

1-2-3 we go and we still can't hit any pitchers besides the one inning. 9 outs to hold on to precarious 1-0 lead.

Macciocchi into pitch 7th. I assume he will go for 3 inning save. I don't want Litwicki closing as he is only guy besides Sommer who has struggled on mound lately. Could also use 2 from him and try to let Tucker close which would work.

Theres a hit but a play that has to be made on a tough chopper to second under glove for single.

Ashley has had his best game in weeks going 2-3 with two singles and a walk. OSU going to their third pitcher. The other two combined to throw under 100 is 7 1/3 inning. Thats the problem right now. We are seeing 110-120 pitches in an entire game last couple weeks. That number should be much closer to 150 if not higher.

Interestingly OSU goes to their closer TJ Brock. Interesting decision still in game on road in eighth inning down but in game.

Richardson singles to LF and IU has first and third 1 out as they try to take out insurance. Cole Barr now.

Barr strikes out. Of everyone struggling, no one has been worse than Barr is the slump which has been one of the main reasons for the drop off.

Insurance policy excepted! Toetz singles through the hole between first and second to make it 2-0. 

Of course the two pitchers we hit best this weekend were Brock and Povich the two best we faced. Completely befuddled by everyone else.
