Braylon Mullins (2025) SG - to UConn
BA47591 replied to Barrel Rick's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I know Pete Yonkman is our unofficial CEO and GM. I know that they want to give Woody every possible advantage to win. It has come with a list of expectations. I don't know if Ol' Pete is uber competitive too or he just wants to have a clear conscience if he has to fire Woody. Either way the NIL has more than tripled since Parker Stewart, Kopp and Durr. I think it's starting to turn into the old Southwest Conference in football if you're willing to pay a kid 1.5 mil and give his parents whatever just to stay home. 1.5m,,,we got our new back court for that. Yeah, we're doing an awful lot just to avoid firing a legacy coach. -

I'm impressed with the recruiting efforts. Hunter jumped in and made us legitimate contenders for Reibe when we lost Moreno and now we are a serious player for Grady after losing Haralson. I'm not sure who the primary is on his recruitment but I suspect it's Walsh. I think what I would say to Mullins about UConn is, "You're not going to be playing on either of the national championship teams there you'll be playing on a team that just recruited over your position." Stay home and be a legend. I'd love to see us land the best shooting class in the country. -

Of the three teams. I'm confident that IU will be the most successful this year. -
(2025) SF - Winters Grady to Michigan

This guy has a reputation for being really scrappy. He's a true 3. I think in a 4 out with a high level play maker at point Sisley and Grady would be exceptional together. Very similar dispositions and would be 4 year contributors that would set a culture. IF We landed a class of Sisley, Mullins, Reibe and Grady we could have the best shooter in the country at 4 different positions. Sign me up. -

Reibe's name came out with us being a serious contender a couple of weeks before Moreno committed to Kentucky. Is this one of those situations? -

I look at the rankings occasionally and find myself looking to see how many kids between 10 and 30 are from Georgia. -

I did until it got into week 2 and then 3 after his visit. Is that the German spelling of Haralson? :) -
(2025)-PF Bryson Tiller to Kansas
BA47591 replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Did anyone have a chance to see the write up on the OTE combine. I was surprised to see that none of our coaches were there. Tiller was in limited action while he nurses an ankle but one thing did jump out at me. His measurements in shoes. Almost 6'11", 238. He looks physically like a college sophomore I think was one quote. I know consistent motor questions were there in the past. It made me think of Andre Patterson. I wonder where we're at with him. Self and Pearl were there. -

Shortly after Sampson was named head coach, he hired Jeff Meyer, Eric Gordon Sr.'s college basketball coach and a longtime family friend, as an assistant. Meyer wasn't Eric's dad. I'm was wrong. -
Haralson commented last week about the 3 finalist. "Shrews is an offensive genius. We've broken down so much film together and he's already helped my game." The longer we got away from the visit he had with us the lesser the chance we had. I thought he would've been in the bag with us within the week. I think Shrews beat us. I've been told for two years Sisley wouldn't play with Haralson again. Now when Sisley commits Monday, Haralson retweets it and schedules his ceremony for Wednesday I can't imagine it's to rush and join Sisley. Koehler the ND commit today played AAU ball with Haralson. I don't think it mattered though.

Has either of two other schools offered his dad a job? I mean it's a stretch, but Eric Gordon was headed to Illinois until we pulled that oldie but goodie. Denny Crum kept Alan Houstons dad on payroll for that reason then Tennesssee one-upt him.I don't think Braylon is that caliber of player, but what is the family business he has to focus on? -

I'm not sure what Dana Altman can say to him after his IU visit. The one to one with Kenya Hunter prior to the visit was huge and Sisley and he connected well so I heard. I'm feeling like he may be next. -
I'm jacked over this one. Walsh should feel really good about this. It gives me faith in future recruiting. Montverde operates like a D1 program down there with their 24hr player development. I'll guess he puts on 20lbs of muscle and will be ready day 1 to contribute. He's a top 30 player in the country. I'm invisioning the possibility of positionless basketball with Mullins, Sisley, Haralson, Tucker and Reneau in 25-26'. Not saying we'd ever start 3 frosh but that's a fun line-up for 10 min a game.
