    A good coach would know that Malik either has to develop his game beyond 10-feet or needs to accept being a small ball 5 and really focus on being able to defend as a 5. Our roster construction did Malik no favors.

    So glad they pre-retired Woody. We’d all be sweating bullets right now if they hadn’t. Instead, we can all just focus on cheering for the team while the coaching search continues. Turned into a pretty awesome situation really. Here’s hoping the team shows up Saturday with some real intensity.

    Not that I’m inclined to do so but couldn’t you technically set up an NIL collective on the blockchain to provide maximum transparency? Would seem to be the solution for avoiding shady situations, as long as the rules allow for us to know how much athletes are getting paid.

    Well said. The phrases I use in a similar vein are “assume the person you’re talking to has something worth listening to” or “always assume good intent”. That said, while the poster may be trying to say “it’s as close to a sure thing as there can be” this, by definition, isn’t “0%”. Semantic debates are lame though so are only fun when someone is being ridiculous.

    Given many programs seem to be adopting the GM model now, has it been clear that Brad was being considered for the HC role? Or is it possible he’s being considered for the GM role?
