IMO Steven’s is a pipe dream and not worth the effort. Not because he’s not worth it, but because he had his opportunity to come here and didn’t. He won’t now. Can’t see May leaving UM 1 year in. Regardless if we are his Alma Mater. Shrews would be a realistic candidate. ND is a football school first and foremost and with the school’s adamant stance on not joining a conference, eventually they will be left behind as the tv revenue sent to the Power conferences continues to balloon. He has good connections with Indiana high school coaches and runs a great system. Proven Power conference coach yet young enough to be a long term option.

Understand, but unless he’s oblivious, which I don’t think for a second he is, he had to see the talent discrepancy on the field v OSU. Many here commented after that game that we need to upgrade our roster. Great to have a roster full of under recruited guys with chips on their shoulders. But if you can incorporate a few stud guys, you have to try and get them

Both played. A&M guy got hurt, then came back, then got benched. Change of scenery can do wonders for guys sometimes, and we have been lamenting the discrepancy in talent between our roster and OSU, for example. Wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss high end talent

Quarterback from both USC and Texas A &M entering the portal. The latter was a 5 star recruit. Have to think these guys saw what Cig did with Rourke and at least their interest was peaked

IU is in. No way that a 1 loss team from one of the two “power” conferences gets left out. Would set a precedent that the power brokers won’t abide. Should we be a possible first round host team? Lot’s of crazy stuff would have to happen. No way should any 3 loss team be ahead of us

Purdue just turned the ball over again

Hosted a second Thanksgiving yesterday and I did all the cooking so really wasn’t paying attention to this forum. Watching the beat down of the Smellermakers last night I was drawn to watching how Cig and his staff have their hands on every single detail of the team’s operations. Comparatively, the basketball staff does not. Fault lies at the top but the assistants are not blameless either. As I said previously, no losses through Jan11 is imperative in my mind. They got the first one v Providence-a game several/many here thought they’d lose. No final opinion yet, but watching closely.

How have you personally been treated like crap? Were you publicly embarrassed? Did you lose out on something? Were your feelings hurt? What exactly are you “taking “? If a few comments on Senior Night last year were a problem for you, I’d suggest that you grow a pair. Pretty sure you weren’t personally affected by anything that was said. I get it. Just don’t choose to participate in it. $$$ is relative to the position. Maybe he hasn’t “earned “ it. But that’s on the university for choosing to pay him. I’m not gonna lambast him for what he’s getting paid. I don’t think anyone here knows what goes on behind the scenes. Is smoking a cigar what it’s been made out to be? Or is it a visual taken out of context. Is he lazy? Or did he not value what some of these recruits were about? Maybe, like has been reported about Mullins, the kid/parents were not people Woodson wanted as part of the program. Not sure anyone here knows, but the easy way is to assume that the worst is the fact. Like I said, the results on the floor need to improve immediately. All that matters

You’d have to go back a long ways, to my original posts on this… I have never been this staunch CMW guy. What I have been is a guy that disagrees with the disrespectful/snarky/hateful rhetoric that this thread seems to encourage. I have said from the beginning that people can criticize, but don’t have to disparage. I am getting closer to agreeing that it’s time for a change, but I won’t be that guy who thinks it’s okay to kick a coach when he’s down. I hope Dolsen can find someone better. Someone this fan base can get behind 100% But I won’t be the pitchfork guy calling for Woodson’s neck.

Talk to @IndianaSconnie90 Game I played when we lived in Wisconsin. I’m a good card player but every time we played Sheepshead I had to have the rules in front of me. Even then, it was a struggle to keep up
