  1. I’ve already answered that, but yes time to move.
  2. The concerns with guys like May and McCollum have very little to do with X's and O's.
  3. He's a really good coach from an X's and O's standpoint. He's also a maniac. His preference to retool in the portal every single season isn't sustainable at a job like Indiana where expectations are sky high every single season. He was shot out of a cannon at Arkansas and crashed and burned even faster. X's and O's are a fraction of what it takes to be successful here...but you knew that.
  4. I listed the consensus favorites which of course are : Stevens, Pearl, and May. Of the three, I would only consider Pearl to be a home run hire. I have several reservations with both Dusty May and Brad Stevens. Doesn't mean they couldn't win here, but wouldn't shock me if they didn't. I think Musselman could handle the noise and expectations but I don't think his style is sustainable. Plus I don't think fans would like him.
  5. Probably. It still wouldn't be good enough though.
  6. I do not believe Brad Stevens or Dusty May or Bruce Pearl will be interested in the IU job but I don't think that's really going out on a limb. I have talked myself into Chris Beard over the last few weeks...don't see the admin taking that approach however. I think Chris Mack deserves a second chance somewhere, I would be ok if that place was here. Names like Ben McCollum, Bucky McMillan, Micah Shrewsbury, Josh Schertz, etc are all names that have all been floated around for some time now. I believe the next hire is much likely to come from that candidate pool. I don't think any of those guys would have a prayer here.
  7. I'd rather go on a cross-country trip with my ex-wife... No offense Kathy, I'm sure you're great.
  8. Uh no. Fans who can't control their emotions lie solely on the individual. Are you serious right now?
  9. I don't think anybody is actually going to harm anybody either, but these same people suggesting it could happen are going to be the same people left dumbfounded once Stevens (again), May, Pearl, etc all say "No" to IU. We'll end up hiring the next lucky up and comer who has zero experience managing these kinds of expectations or fan base and be right back here in another 3-4 years only under a new thread title. Rinse, wash, repeat
  10. So somebody is going to physically harm Woodson and/or somebody from the team and yet this fan base wonders year after year why we can't ever hire anybody worth a salt? Yeah tone deaf. And I'm out on Woodson by the way, so you don't need to ask 1000x over.
  11. Dusty May is a missed Memphis box out away from still being a complete unknown.
  12. Woodson winning with Archie’s players more than Archie did himself accurately portrays the state of the program when Woodson took over. Thanks for clearing that up.
  13. He missed their game against Penn St on Wednesday as well.
  14. Don’t you have an email to write?
  15. Leading scorer was out Wednesday night as well and they beat Penn St like a drum. USC has competed well with teams like Michigan and Oregon already this season. They have a really good coach and present a lot of problems for teams with their length and athleticism. Not many gimmies this year in the B10 outside Minnesota.
  16. Thank you for the clarification.
  17. Did I say that? I said it was patently ridiculous to say IU was in a worse place today than it was during Archie’s tenure. You said that, not me.
  18. Who the hell cares? Nobody had NIL in either of those coaches 3rd seasons.
  19. I’ll continue to give my opinion until I’m told only universal opinions are allowed. Thank you for your concern, you can pick up your hall monitor badge during the passing period.
  20. Then don’t read a thread that’s been regurgitated nearly 1500 pages over lol? I’m not sure what else to say?
  21. Didn’t realize you had to share a universal opinion to post in certain threads. If that’s the case, please update the forum rules and I’ll own my mistake. TIA
  22. 1 hypothetical tournament appearance in 4 years is greater than 2 appearances in 3 years? Again, stop. As far as expectations go…you, not me, made the ridiculous assertion that IU was in a better spot under Archie than Woodson.
  23. IU hasn’t played a tournament game since 2016 at the time Woodson was hired. Just stop.
  24. Of course. Ya’ll were told to chill out and took it personally.
