  1. Certainly an opinion and one that you're entitled too. Benter hasn't played a minute of college basketball to in any way quantify that statement.
  2. He chose Miami because they offered him $800k and a Bentley while Purdue offered him a chance to start. Nijel Pack is the OG bag chaser. And not that there is anything wrong with that, but his NIL deal was one of the first widely publicized deals in this new era. He's a good individual player, but that Miami team went to **** once most of their core left after the F4 year.
  3. Yeah, he was a top 50 player coming out of high school and was coming off a pretty significant lower leg injury if I recall correctly.
  4. If he's going to Iowa like it's being suggested, I'm not sure when or where he plays. Bennet Stirtz lead the nation in minutes played last year.
  5. The hell? Conwell, DeVries, and Pack are all ultra-high usage players and Dix is no slouch himself. That rarely works out. Not being negative, that's just a fact.
  6. Yet was the only freshman in Purdue's 6 man class to redshirt? Purdue's 2nd unit was horrible this year. Interesting.
  7. Really? Of all the places to go he's going to a place whose PG never leaves the floor? Odd would be an understatement.
  8. Will be shocked if Benter plays more than 10 minutes a game next year, especially if they sign this transfer from Northeastern. I get it though, you're a Brownstown guy needing to defend his own.
  9. Can't say that I've watched Benter as he wasn't good enough to crack their rotation and subsequently redshirted. The same rotation that Colvin could barely crack.
  10. Fun offensive lineup, but one ball for Pack, Conwell, Dix, and DeVries could be problematic. Pack might be one of the worst defenders in college basketball. Pack, Conwell, and an elite wing defender with Flory protecting the rim would be a better alternative.
  11. Again, why do you assume all that? Iowa had a coaching change, it’s customary for a recruit to re-open his commitment in these kinds of situations. Every time I’ve seen this kid play he’s very active with an extremely high motor. He’s a plus athlete to boot. Could be a very nice player for somebody at this level one of these days if he develops.
  12. Again, why do you say that? I'm not sure Briscoe is in the position to hold out for the most money. I think Coach DeVries and Drew Adams attending the 3A final at least suggests they are interested in Briscoe. He's an Indiana Elite player who was offered previously by DeVries at West Virginia.
  13. McKneely isn't considering IU
  14. TDV needs an exemption to play this year. Conwell and Dix are same class.
  15. All three have one more year left.
  16. Ok? I'm not fighting with you lol. Not sure why you take everything as a slight
  17. Nothing? Providing context and insight to each players skillset. McKneely is an elite 3 point shooter, but there's not much else to his game offensively. Dix and Conwell can both shoot and put the ball on the floor. IF you could only choose two between Dix, Conwell, and McKneely...give me the two former all day every day. I don't think McKneely is even considering IU at the moment so it's moot anyways.
  18. attempts at the rim 2025 McKneely: 20-44 45% Dix: 66-93 70% Conwell: 73-120 61% McKneely doesn't do anything but shoot 3's.
  19. McKneely is almost exclusively catch and shoot. Conwell and Dix can both dribble and both can get to the rim. Conwell can handle the ball, he's a combo guard.
  20. Not many people are going to like this but I believe this is precisely why DeVries is recruiting Enright.
  21. The guy averaged less than one trip to the line a game. His FT% is far overshadowed by his ability to defend, clean the glass, and protect the rim. Yes, crying about FT% in this context is trivial. It was so problematic for Auburn that they went 32-5, earned the #1 overall seed and playing in the F4 next week despite Cardwell starting all 37 games. Good grief.
  22. For a guy who barely averages a FT attempt a game? Yes absolutely.
  23. Yeah. The wall who is a defensive anchor on a team about to be in the F4. Why do so many people look at some of the most trivial things?
  24. Kevin Overton was at Drake and played a key role in Texas Tech’s E8 run. Liam Robbins started out at Drake before eventually transferring to Vanderbilt via Minnesota eventually becoming an all SEC player while getting some run in the NBA. 3/5 of this years All-America team started their careers at Iona, Morehead St, and Ohio. Guys get misevaluated out of high school all the time.
  25. Buried pages back but I think he’s the most intriguing player in the portal. He got hurt/missed some games at the end of the year and SDSU was never the same. He seems to be linked to Michigan which would be unfortunate but he’s already a very good player who hasn’t even come close to hitting his ceiling.
