  1. Don't disagree. That's why IU is pretty much another job these days.
  2. And this is why we'll be right back here in 3-4 years doing it all over again.
  3. Yeah? And the pitchforks were out before his 2nd season ended. Once you lose this fanbase, you’re effectively done.
  4. I’ve never accused the IU administration of being competent have I?
  5. Exactly. And we’re not willing to give a guy 2-3 years to get an unorthodox system instituted and the right personnel in place. Whether it’s Brad, Dusty, or the next door neighbor…you better win and you better do it quickly or the pitchforks come out.
  6. Will Wade would be here tomorrow if offered the job. Can’t say that about Stevens.
  7. It's not. I'm not interjecting myself into any more Stevens circle jerk talk. When Woodson is let go and this board wants to get serious about realistic candidates I'll gladly partake.
  8. And yet wouldn’t sniff a 28-2 record.
  9. Rick Pitino never went 28-2 in the MAAC coaching at a low major. What gives?
  10. Wouldn’t expect you too, then again there isn’t much I expect from you at all.
  11. You think Woodson is getting the talent he gets at IU to McNeese St? And some are calling me disingenuous?
  12. Yet coaching at a top 5 job I’ve been told.
  13. Going 28-2 in any conference is an enormous feat regardless of who you are and not something I would expect anyone to do.
  14. He was out of job and no NFL team was willing to give him head coaching/GM double duties which is something he absolutely wanted.
  15. My expectation was a second weekend appearance with a $6mil roster. WTF does that have to do with the Southland? You think Mike Woodson is going 28-2 in the Southland?
  16. Steve Lutz recently coached in the Southland and was 21-11. Now at OK State and probably on the hot seat.
  17. No I don’t think any high major D1 coach could just stroll into McNeese St and go 28-2.
  18. Slick Rick had to learn to walk again at Iona for a few years (after a stint in Greece) before the big boys came calling.
  19. Other than the Stevens’ who have already turned down $70 million to come to Bloomington
  20. Will Wade will be a front runner for the North Carolina job when it’s open. Sean Miller and Rick Pitino weren’t given show-causes, that’s why. Will Wade had to take the fall for guys like Rick and Sean to survive.
  21. He already turned down $10 million to begin with and voluntarily walked away from the sideline to become a GM. But yeah he wants to return at the collegiate level lol.
  22. How does that differentiate from any schedule McNeese St has played in the last 15 years? Are you seriously trying to knock the job Wade has done at one of the worst jobs in the country?
  23. His starters are from UMass, St Louis, UTSA, Louisiana, and a guy from Syracuse who averaged 6 points a game. The fact he can bring talent to the Southland at a place like McNeese St speaks volumes.
  24. Just win to move to 28-2 in the Southland through his first 30 games. McNeese St hadn’t had a winning record since 2011….
  25. They settled on Pope because they got taken for a ride after all the big wigs leveraged the UK job into raises and extensions.
