IU is clearly at it's best with guys like Ware and Reneau scoring at the rim. Giving that up to brick 25 three pointers a game at the expense of making 8 or 9 (instead of 5 or 6) is literally how efficiency works lol, there's no differing opinion. I would love for IU to be able to make 9 or 10 three's a game but realize that it isn't practical to do it efficiently given our personnel.

I know you don't care but the coaching staff does and it's precisely why IU doesn't jack a bunch of 3's; because they don't have the personnel to do it. Indiana needing ~35 three point attempts just to hit 9-10 a game is going to have us playing on Wednesday of the B10 Tournament and nowhere near as efficient as "clogging up the lane and throwing into the post play after play"...clearly you have no idea what efficiency means or how it works. I'm much more fixated on limiting turnovers and on the defensive side of the ball than simply attempting more three pointers. IU shot ~60% from the field Sunday night and over 80% from the line on 20+ attempts yet only won by 8. Why? Because of turnovers. Cut the turnovers in half and that's roughly 10 extra possessions. 10 extra possessions scoring at a 60% clip is at minimum 12 extra points. That's the difference between a sweat it out type game and a 20 point blowout. Much better chance of this team solving the their turnover issues than become a reliable 3 point shooting team.

Name a single player on this team who you'd feel comfortable with shooting 4+ times a game from deep and still hitting at a respectable clip? We shoot well from three percentage wise because we're an opportunistic shooting team who doesn't force shots, likely because we don't have the capability to do so.

We don't have any volume 3 point shooters. Now a question you can certainly ask is why don't we have volume shooters and one I'd be curious to hear, but IU taking 25-30 three's a game because "that's how basketball is played today" will wreck this season. Play to your strengths which should be efficiency at the rim with Ware and Malik and getting to the foul line. Get the defensive lapses and lack of rotations and closeouts in check and this team may be alright. But this team was never going to be a high scoring, gung ho shooting team ever since we failed to add a lead guard in the portal.

The starting lineup we've used the last two games. Start with that and then replace Ware/Reneau with Cupps after the first media TO. We're currently playing two centers and then a PF out on the wing. Cupps isn't any more of a liability defensively than Reneau or MM right now trying to guard quicker players. You don't have to keep 3 guards on the court at all times, but having 3 guards vs 2 Centers and a PF is the better alternative.

I will be ecstatic if we keep that game in single single digits. Karaban is going to kill Reneau in pick and pop situations and Castle on Mgbako is a total mismatch. This will be my first time back in the Garden since the early 90's when I lived out that way. Was looking forward to this game as I'm going with a few old colleagues who I've kept in touch with that are all UConn fans but this week has certainly changed my outlook. We aren't very good and coaching is even poorer.

2024 PG Daquan Davis to Florida State

Irrespective of ranking, Passmore is physically ready to play from day 1 and is a great athlete. If he develops a consistent jump shot he will play in the NBA for a long time. -

Really going to regret not landing another guard/perimeter player in the portal. Ware, MM, and Reneau all playing together going to cause spacing issues all year. -
Not an actor, but did graduate law school before pursuing other career opportunities in the financial world. You could go into all the applicable legal standards you want, Monroe County is going to laugh at him if he tries to file a claim for a broken window that occurred while being arrested during the commission of a crime. My best legal advice....."Good Luck"!

No because police officers and law enforcement agencies have immunity when it comes to property damage during arrests and official investigations and it's been that way forever. You think the police reimburse the homeowner after executing a search warrant when tearing up the house? No, they tell you to stop breaking the law. Same rule applies here. He's not going to see a dime for his broken window.

No. Look at Fritz resume, he’s a no brainer. He’s won at every level of football. -2x national champion JUCO level -built D2 Central MO from the ground up -went to back to back FCS title games at Sam Houston -transitioned GA Southern into FCS and won 17 games in 2 years -went 10-2 at Tulane last year and won a NY6 bowl, 6-1 this ranked in the top 25 with only loss to Ole Miss w/o starting QB I’m not sure what else he has to prove at Tulane. He’s the John Beilein of college football in the sense he wins wherever he goes and it took John Beilein forever to get a P5 job. All Fritz needs is a chance. Kansas gave Lance Leipold a chance who isn’t that much younger and look at where they’re at. He very well could turn IU down and that’s one thing, but it would be asinine of Dolson to not give him a shot. Fritz acts closer to 43 on the sideline than 63 and giving a proven winner 5-6 years beats the hell out of gambling on an NFL position coach. You can hire ARE in 3-4 years from now if things don’t pan out, he’s not going anywhere.

If I’m Dolson I’m not interviewing a soul who doesn’t at minimum have HC experience at the FCS level or above. That eliminates ARE from any and all consideration, so to answer your question yes I would rather have Will Mushchamp if choosing between the 2. My short list 1-5 1. Willie Fritz 2. Paul Chryst 3. Kane Wommack 4. Curt Cignetti 5. Dan Mullen
