You still only get 13 scholarships with the roster limit of 15

Look at my above post because you still only have 13 scholarships to give out

Listening to Osterman on a podcast the other day and he said you still only get 13 full scholarships. The roster limit is at 15 which means you no longer can have 5-7 walk ons any longer. He stated that the last few spots could be provided with partial scholarships like baseball does. You can't sign 15 scholarship players to full rides.

I figured we would here more about the coaching staff by now. I am hoping if Frazier doesn't get the WVU he follows DDv to IU.

As for Enright if he is brought in to be the backup PG and plays 15 mpg then he would be a great fit. I don't think he will be brought in to be the starting PG so there shouldn't be a big argument with him.

Hopefully it won't take long for Goode to get his answer to if he gets another year.

Thank goodness the search is over I just hope we as a fan base will give him a chance a put all of our efforts to really support the program.

More likely the Stevens part was never true Why in the world would Brad be interested in coming back to coach college basketball. He sees most of the best coaches have left the business the last few years because of the new college landscape. Being a NBA executive is easier than being a college bay coach. He can still have a family life and don't have to worry about the portal and NIL. You don't have to restock your roster every year in the NBA since players are under contract

Come on guys we know that the search firm is hired to to background checks and to talk to agents to see if their clients are interested in the job It would s obvious the top choices all said they were not interested and are happy where they are at. All of this stuff s not a surprise at all since top candidates don't leave their jobs. So now we are actually doing the real process of finding the coach who are realistic.

How about not judging a coach until we see what he can do. Does this resume look like a coach who would go on and win consecutive titles. I looked at Hurley's mid major jobs plus his first at a power conference Wagner 13-17 no tournament 25-6 no tournament Rhode Island 8-21 no tournament 14-18 no tournament 23-10 no tournament 17-15 no tournament 25-10 tournament 26-8 tournament UCONN 16-17 no tournament Devries Drake 24-10 no tournament 20-14 no tournament 26-5 tournament 25-11 no tournament 27-8 tournament 28-7 tournament WVU 19-13

Well you hope being on DD show isn't an indication about the IU job because Fran was on his local show today

I wouldn't be surprised if McCollum just stays at Drake for awhile because he just seems like he is just about coaching basketball. He might not want to deal with the other things involved with being a power conference coach. He could just be like Few and Randy Bennett staying at a mid major for his career.

Some of you act like IU can just go out there and just get any coach out there. It is a two way street and we can't make a certain coach want to coach here. Hasn't the last few years of coaching cycles proven to you that big fish don't leave their current jobs

They wouldn't announce a coach is taking the job if that coach in the tournament. It is one thing if it is a meaningless bowl game plus there are usually 30 days between the season ending and the bowl game.
