  1. It definitely hurts the program. Also I see some already questioning the new coach who has been here two weeks and hasn't coached a game yet. I see our fans ripping the national media with their pertrail of the fans at IU but maybe they see it better than we do
  2. Well maybe some day people like you will realize that the fans are part of the problem. We keep blaming the BOT, the President, the AD, and the coaches and we have had about 6 of each the last 25 years. The one constant is the toxic environment around the program which includes the fans. Why don't we just go through 10 more coaches and turn on them after year two and see how that works out. Go ahead and keep your heads buried and keep blaming everybody else. This board should show you how nuts this fan base is when you have two different threads with 2000 pages about firing their coach
  3. Maybe we need to realize that kids today doesn't look at IU like we do. These kids have only seen IU as a mediocre program that doesn't make the tournament very often. They also see the fans still having the same expectations like it was 1987 instead of actually where the program is.
  4. So far there is nothing to be upset about or impressed with because the off season had just begun
  5. WVU would have had a better season if two of their top players didn't miss most of the season. Instead of 19-13 they probably have won 22 or 23 games
  6. I remember a few years ago that Kansas St didn't have anyone on its roster until late May and they went to the he elite 8 that year.
  7. His family is a Purdue family plus the family use to live in Louisville
  8. Or that they see the fans are panicking and wanted to calm us down
  9. I saw on a podcast that Travis Barnham stated that Bidunga is probably.dowm to two options 1) Auburn 2) return to KU
  10. I am surprised there hasn't been any news concerning Bidunga at all since he entered the portal. I haven't heard of any visits he is going to take.
  11. No thank you, rumors was that KU regretted signing him early on in the season
  12. I like your prediction better than RTZ saying we aren't getting Dix
  13. I would think their family would know Devries pretty well with his time at Drake. Didn't Dix play with Tucker in AAU
  14. I know Illinois is a little closer to home but not by that much. I think it is around a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Bloomington to Champaign
  15. Pretty much I have right haven't I. Most of it doesn't have anything to do with IU at all. Just look at the hiring cycles the last few years and you notice that top coaches aren't leaving their current jobs.
  16. Yes, I have been a fan a lot longer than you have been alive. I just don't know why players would follow an assistant coach.
  17. But they have to pay a buyout
  18. TT and Alabama has a lot of good players but why would they follow them to IU. I also have to ask why these two coaches would leave those schools to come here
  19. I think he is a good player but he isn't worth breaking the bank for him.
  20. Didn't Payne visit IU last year?
  21. From what I gather is that the dead period just states you can't visit the players. You can still call them and their agents do you can still get deals done if you want. Just look at NFL free agency and the top players signs in the first couple of hours that free agency opens. Those players usually never visit the Team they sign with.
  22. I was being sarcastic because I don't see Smith going into the portal
  23. So has Braden Smith entered the portal yet. Didn't some guy say he would enter today on X
  24. Looks like Colvin and Heide saw the logjam at the guard and wings spot at PU and decided to leave
