Just for the sake of argument say we land Conerway and Wilkerson to go along with Devries and Bailey in the starting lineup. For the 5th starter do you go with a wing who can shoot and is a good perimeter defender or do you go with a rim protector and rebounding center.

Now the floodgates have opened on the assistant coaches coming hopefully the players start committing as well.

So how does any of us really know how good an assistant coach is. Also how many assistant coaches could you name on each school

If he didn't go to the Lakers last year, I don't see him going to Denver. Also his act won't work in the NBA

If he didn't take the Lakers job I doubt he would take the Nuggets job. Also I don't see his style of coaching working on the NBA

I think we as fans need to put our trust in to coach Devries in how he wants to build his roster. He has proven over the years that he can build a roster and he successful with it. I know I am ready to actually have a team that fits together and plays as a team and not be a collection of talent. I want the sum to be greater that the parts assembled. I am tired where the parts are greater than the sum. We have seen what we have been when all a coach cares about is getting an all star team together.

It is like the Steelers who has only had 3 coaches since 1969

There has been a lot of great JC players and two helped us win our last championship. I am not questioning him being from JC but the other teams that are recruiting him makes me wonder about him. If coach has confidence he would be good here that is good enough for me.

Just watched the Risley podcast and I am trying to figure out who those 4 or 5 players would be. Coach Devries has kept everything really quiet and haven't heard a lot of names. I am surprised that Coach Devries told all of this during the zoom call.

I was right saying the big fish doesn't leave their current job. I also said that if you can get a power conference coach it would be a guy like Brownell from Clemson which is pretty much Devries from WVU. On the assistant coaches I referred to isn't coming here do I was right on that.
