https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/indiana/2025.html#all_defense_standard Just for conversation, obviously the Def staff will come up with a great fix. Daley/Wyatt are responsible for 25+ TFL, 8 sacks, and 60+ tackles. To replace them I would assume two different situations that the coaches will use to mitigate the loss: 1. Replace Daley straight up with Ndukwe, Turvy, and Depaepe's. This allows Kamara to retain position. Most likely scenario IMO 2. Kamara will shift into Daley's place, which I believe was his position last year. This will allow Utzinger/Turner to fill Kamara's role which seems to be in coverage more. Pure conjecture from a novice fan. Regardless the DE position is extremely thin. We cannot afford for Kamara to get hurt at all. He is undoubtedly the most important player on our defense as far as health goes now.

If it is Patellar Tendon, totally possible that he is still able to play with taping + modern medicine within 3 weeks. This is best case scenario, unless it is a rupture of course

I am guessing you saw DD's tweets?

COACH CIGS**
-
I've seen Rabjohns and Ostermann have been asked several times on twitter as well - silence. When is Cig's next press conference?
-
Can any members here speak on the validity of the Original poster to the rumor on Peegs?
-
Cig would've updated on Daley when asked about injuries in his interview. I remember being HOODWINKED about Billy Donovan looking at a horse farm, Brad Stevens in Btown x10. For once I hope the boards are wrong!
-
Where are you guys seeing this being reported? I haven't seen a thing
-
His choice. Believe he was just hired last year
-
Totally possible. Maybe I’m just hopeful
-
Syracuse HC Brown Jr will, in my opinion, leave for another job
-
We’re going to find out soon which coordinator is Cig’s successor. Whichever leaves to be a HC first is not the choice. I’d bet Haines is coach in waiting based on Cig’s comments about both coords throughout the year

We also return: RB - Lee BeeBe and Khobe Martin WR - Cooper (?), Becker, Bond, Baldwin OL - Carter Smith, Bray Lynch, Drew Evans, Ajani LB - Turner, Jones, Hardy, Turner, Utzinger DL - Tucker, Ndukwe, Landino, Burruss, Depaepe x2 DB - Baldwin Jr, Boyd, Ballin, Ferrell, Ponds (?), Sharpe, Chung ST - Conner, Radicic These are all names that I knew off the top of my head. Coach Curt Cignetti to INDIANA... Forever and Ever, Amen!
realTomCrean replied to mamasa's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
I just purchased a Bobble Head of Coach Cignetti from National Bobblehead Hall of Fame. It says the phrase "I win. Google me". The product will ship in March of 2026. They also have Coach Knight Bobble Heads. Pretty cool site: https://store.bobbleheadhall.com/search?q=hoosiers&view=ls&type=product
