I feel the same way in the comparison to Cig. Mccollum hasn't finished lower than 1st in a conference in over a decade. The tempo is a point of concern, on DD's show this morning McCollum stated he likes his teams to shoot more 3s than what they have this year but he just doesn't have the right personnel for it. How do you guys like that; he identified his team's strength/weakness and implemented a change in style to get them to play at their highest level of execution possible. That's a positive to me. Regardless, against 3 P5 teams this year he scored 76+ on all (80+ twice). It's either hire McCollum or watch him win B10 titles (ala Dusty May) at Iowa for the next decade or two.

Do we identify the coach today? No Does Byron Tucker drag a decade+ of Rabjohns' work through the dirt and ruin what's left of his reputation regionally and nationally by the end of the day? Yes! Life's better when you enjoy the small things.

I believe IU fans are still weary, even with last year's success, due to decades of being beat down. After the 2020(?) season where IU got the screwed out of the B1G championship game, it has made me cautious to invest my time, emotions, and $ into the program out of fear of a one-hit wonder. An 8+ win season this year and I'd be willing to say the IUFB section starts filling up on here.

The icing on the cake is a Bloomington native and former student manager @ IUBB won B1G tourney in year 1. The fans were clamoring and begging for him last year, to which Chief clowns Woody, Leal, and gang told us we weren’t true fans. We are greeted with now a national media and coaching staff that pushed that IUBB fans are the problem. They took a great product that was engrained with Hoosier identity and ruined it in 2 decades, they been anyone and everyone involved. Tom Crean is the only coach who showed love to Hoosier fans outwardly and that’s why I love the guy. Hire him before fffff Brad Brownell - totally serious. IU hires Brad Brownell and I’m out with a multitude of other fans
