  1. He’s on my personal short list! I think he’d be awesome here!!
  2. I believe he hired Matta (who wanted Dane). Hence the three-headed debacle year 1
  3. May is Plan B Four years ago, Dolson hired Matta. QB hired Woodson and overruled him. With QB finally out of the picture, Dolson is doing his job.
  4. lol. Crean was definitely clapping somewhere with all those deflections. The guys looked very quick last night at closing the gaps in the zone. Creans only disappointment maybe that we didn’t switch from 3-2, to 2-3, to man, to 1-3-1, to box and one all in the same possession.
  5. Leal hit the last couple to seal it. Rice, gallo and Mgbako all missed front ends at the end - otherwise wouldn’t have been so close. Tip of cap to Coach tonight.
  6. Winning with an active coaching search is heaven.
  7. No kidding. He had every opportunity here, but got in his own way.
  8. Great game for Woodson. Good subbing. Stuck with zone. Missed 3 front ends - only reason it was close. can win next 6 too.
  9. This is what @Chris007 has been suggesting. If it’s Brad, no harm in having the job open now. If it wasn’t Brad, Dolson very well would’ve waited until the end of the season. Opening the job know means schools are trying to lock down their coach.
  10. Thats my belief. Coupled with he and Dolson talking/negotiating last offseason. The way I read it, I think Kelsey’s buyout would be 8-9mm this year. Assuming Louisville offered something similar to May and knowing IU could be looking for a new coach this offseason, my gut tells me May took the job that would be less of a hurdle to get to IU.
  11. It could’ve been that. It could be that Dusty knew that iu could be in the situation they are in this offseason since he was in active talks with Dolson last offseason. I tend to believe it was the latter and Mich simply caved bc they were extremely desperate to get back on track.
  12. Dolson was in contact with him and Pearl last offseason. IU could’ve hired either … then QB got involved - again.
  13. UM agreed to the buyout … Louisville did not.
  14. Yes. But if Dusty continues to perform, the results and his merit in the job will take care of the leverage. Some other big jobs will open eventually too … UNC, MSU, etc.
  15. Wow! A mother love bone reference!!! The foundation of Pearl Jam! Crown of Thorns is epic!! maybe we need a separate grunge thread
  16. Yes. And @Chris007 has mentioned too that the timing of the woody announcement highly suggests Stevens.
  17. IU can get Dusty if Stevens says no. pearl and Dusty were lined up last offseason. Dolson was ready. But Woodsons body guards stepped in - again.
  18. No surprise. His buyout is basically “let me see what happens in Bloomington first”
  19. But direct talks did happen last offseason, correct?
  20. I asked this yesterday. What exactly is it? People have alluded to it. Some said he has booze issues dating back before Texas Tech. Genuinely curious. Thanks!
