  1. I missed that … but hope it’s true! This season and experiment is over.
  2. Agree. When do we think Woodson is done? It’s gotta be tomorrow or end of season, right?!?
  3. Red sweater would win me over
  4. Why? Don’t think he has the resume?
  5. Fair enough. Just seems like a very risky candidate.
  6. I personally think it’s Stevens or May. May solely based on his buyout clause at UM. He knew IU would be in this situation this offseason. Allegedly Dolson had he and Pearl lined up last off season. Therefore, I think it’s a two horse race.
  7. Agree. Too risky right now for IU. He very well could have a Bo Ryan ceiling, but IU shouldn’t take that chance with this hire.
  8. I’m sure their NIL offers will still stand either way. Maybe the handful of other Indiana kids that IU managed to go elsewhere will reconsider. But as you know, two recruits won’t change Dolson’s mind.
  9. He wins everywhere! No debating that.
  10. I get more enjoyment coaching my 3rd grade daughter’s team than watching IU this year.
  11. Not to mention, if May takes the job, the IU job shouldn’t open for 15+ years. So it’s now or never for BS imo.
  12. I personally don’t think it’s about the $$ for Brad - more so the timing for him, his family, and if he actually wants the job.
  13. I agree. Great coach and would do well here, but just don’t see it. Especially if Louisville and UK passed on him. I still wonder if Beard used a PR firm and addressed/admitted his mistakes, how he’s actively working daily to be a better person, etc, if that would somehow change the perception of him?
  14. QB hired Woodson. Dolson hired Matta. QB won out. even though Archie didn’t work out, it was still considered a good hire.
  15. Why not? It’s been posted here that the timing could work this time around for Brad and his family. Archie was the hot name at the time. It just didn’t work out.
  16. The only thing IU fans have right now is hope!
  17. I hope you’re wrong. But we’ll see. It certainly seems like a long shot, but it’s now or never for him to IU. If a guy like May gets hired, IU won’t have a change for 15+ years.
  18. BS as in Brad Stevens?!! lol Louisville and UK passed on him too, so who knows.
  19. There is the public stuff known about him. But others say there are even more reasons to stay away.
  20. McCollum seems too risky for this hire right now for IU. He may end up being the next Bo Ryan, but seems risky. Could have a high ceiling, but I’d put someone like Chris Collins over him personally.
  21. That’s exactly why i was hoping Cheaney would’ve taken over as an interim. He doesn’t want the job full time / long term, but would’ve loved to see if he could’ve rallied the troops for a couple months.
  22. I don’t disagree. I’m sure Collins is content and would only consider a handful of schools if he were to move on. I think he’d do very well at IU, but that’s just me.
  23. Collins would be on my short list. I think he’s done great there and would do well at IU.
  24. Am I reading this correctly? McCollum has been a D2 coach and this is his first year in D1? Not suggesting it’s a bad thing (ie Bo Ryan non D1). it seems like a stretch hire on paper, but admittedly haven’t looked too closely into him.
  25. Sorry I was referencing Dusty. I haven’t even begun to wrap my head around McCollum yet. Haven’t looked that closely. Seems like an Archie-type hire (which I thought was a great hire at the time)
