  1. Fair point. Just didn’t think it’d be him.
  2. Oh he’s better than Woodson! but we’ll always be wondering “what could’ve been”. hopefully he is a stud if it is him
  3. Fair point. I’ll trust those that say he’s awesome!
  4. Understood. I just thought IU would’ve hired someone else. I’ll trust you guys that say he’s a stud.
  5. Did i read this correctly? Devries has won one tournament game - a play-in game? Thats the best IU could do?! He may end up solid here, but I really thought IU would hire someone else. TBD I guess if it is him.
  6. This begs the same question I posed yesterday regarding Archie vs McCollum … is this more or less solid than McCollums resume? Devries has made the tourney 3 times and don’t think he’s won a tourney game. McCollum obviously DOMINATED D2. I can see the argument for both sides. So basically a Rabjohns response.
  7. I’ve said this a few times, but Collins is comfortable in Chicago. He would leave for the right job, not just any job. And he expressed interest the last two times the job was open. as you mentioned, not sexy, but could do well here. He’s high on my list!
  8. Bulls have tomorrow off … Sorry - all this Collins talk made me think of his Chicago counterpart. I like Collins too for the record. WHAT IF …. big money was indeed raised … Bulls are in purgatory. Going nowhere. Nobody knows the direction. Owner doesn’t care. anyway - just thinking out loud.
  9. Agree. That pool would be Stevens, Wright and Donovan (I realize he’s coaching nba). But non-current college coaches.
  10. I don’t think he’d leave NW for just any job - but the right job. I’m sure he feels like he’s taken NW to the ceiling. Now with NIL - only going to be more challenging
  11. And that pace is solely based on his roster this year. He adapts to what he has … imagine that. He would’ve easily made tourney with IUs roster this year imo
  12. I can definitely understand the reasoning from both sides.
  13. Agree. Archie was not a fit for all the off court stuff that the IU job requires.
  14. Fair. It seems like the concern is that McCollum “hasn’t proved it at the D1 level yet”.
  15. Agree. I thought he was a good hire, on paper, at the time.
  16. Fair. Some people say Archie had the better resume bc he had success at the D1 level.
  17. I understand. But the question is/was - do you put more weight into D2 success or D1 success?
  18. Its Indiana! QB really jacked a lot of things up the past 4 years.
  19. Comparing Archie’s resume prior to IU vs McCollums, which one do you like better?
  20. May accepting the revised contract at Michigan made me think IU already had their guy. The other side of that is the argument that Mays family is still around town. And if didnt end well at IU for May, a lot of lives could be affected.
  21. That’s why I think Dolson actually had Matta ready to go and QB overruled him. Anyway, sounds like QB is out of the picture on this one.
  22. Maybe McCollum already said no due to Iowas NIL situation?
