The things that give me hope are that donors coughed up big buy out money, we were told to expect extreme denial and we still don’t have a coach. -

Let’s do it. I’m back in the “If you build it, he will come” mode. Lol -

Whoa he’s back. Haven’t seen him post since last time he said it’s Stevens. -

I know Twitter isn’t a true indicator of fan support but I wonder how fans really view Ainge and Stevens? -

Danny Ainge is trending on Twitter. If you go to see what people are saying, it’s all about how he’s terrible at trading and being overrated as a GM. I’m sure the owner doesn’t care about fan opinions but the Celtics just appear to be in a toxic situation now. I don’t understand going down with the ship like it appears Stevens is doing. -
Crap. Forgot they changed that stuff.
-
Pretty good chance Celtics miss playoffs now. Levert back for Pacers and Bulls with a nice pickup on the trade. Potential for Celtics to finish 9th or 10th.
-
We don’t know what we would have gotten before because we had an AD who wouldn’t spend money. So trying to compare now to then doesn’t work.

My fault. I took it as you defending Crean. Lol -

Crean missed the tourney 50% of the time. You think that’s acceptable for a tourney that takes 68 teams and routinely 6-9 from the conference we are in? -
And last night game could have went either way. A missed call, missed free throw and 2 missed layups and lose by 2.
-
So after seeing these tourney numbers Beard looks better than a lot of people think.

Missed one and one and missed layup. Gotta make those. -

And to me 70% is the magic number. Hiring anyone with that percentage or better is likely a great hire. -

Where are we tracking planes too? Aren’t all our targets currently in indiana except for Stevens? -

That could be true. But we know Glass wouldn’t have done it and even if he wanted to Fire Archie he likely would have waited till next year after the buyout drops. Point is things are being handled much differently this time. Just like there not being a search firm. This situation feels more like a plan was in place than what we had from previous AD’s. -

I’m not sure we know what might and might not be going on. At this point who knows. Maybe Stevens told Dolson he wants to finish his season but they only way to do it is to stop the leaks and the rumors. Then again maybe not. Guess we will just have to see what happens. I’m still confident we didn’t buyout 10 mill to hire Mije Woodson or Steve Alford. -

Never thought about that. That could be where this is headed at some point. Maybe Stevens has dreams of being a GM and getting away from the coaching part completely. -

Not that I believe the Butler rumor for one second, let’s just play along and say it was true. Would explain Stevens response yesterday. Basically if y’all really want me then do what it takes, otherwise I’m here to stay. And that was the public way of getting his point across. -

Just a weird response. Could have simply said “as I said before I’m flattered, but I have a job here with the Celtics and I’m happy here and this is where I want to be and will be as long as they will have me”. -

I think this is less likely than Stevens honestly because of his kids being in Texas. -

I’m new here and don’t know any of the posters so I have no clue who’s credible and who isn’t. I just read and try to decide for myself what to believe. But yea he caught some grief and it appears he knew exactly what he was saying. -

There was a drive by poster earlier today that said “On to plan B”. When asked to clarify he said “you won’t believe how close we came”. He appears to have been right.
