I had said earlier in the season that Indiana would have to win about 12 B1G games to make the tourney. At this point, that finishing out our last 10 at 7-3. Schedule going forward... Penn State at Ohio State at Purdue Northwestern Nebraska at Penn State Wisconsin at Maryland at Maryland Michigan State So to hit 7-3, we would need to win all 5 home games and steal 2 on the road. That would also put us at 20-11 heading into the tourney with wins over Wisconsin, Nebraska, Northwestern and Michigan State. It ain't a strong resume unfortunately.

That is really really stupid.

The pro hop to split the defenders and finger roll was textbook and awesome. Even I didn't know he had that in him. But was a hell of a move and awesome to see.

A dude like Leal was needed. And I've said it before. He is someone who is just proud to wear that jersey. He puts it on because of his love and passion for the program and university, not because of money or anything else. That's a player and attitude we as fans have kept asking for out of players. Why we don't have names on the back of jerseys right? But for whatever reason, Leal was never good enough. Yet every time he was in, even if subtle, he showed signs of positive play. Even if it was just swinging the basketball quickly. But he's definitely more of a vocal leader than a guy like Trey and I'm convinced he knows the system, plays and where everyone belongs more than every other player and probably more than a couple coaches. We've been begging for a kid who will just play with heart, even if he doesn't stuff the stat sheet. I'm not expecting 13 and 7 out of him. I'm not expecting any stats. Just heart and leadership. It's what we've needed so badly.
