Well this team really doesn’t have an identity. Or at least hasn’t fully embraced it yet. They seemed to against FSU and then fell back against Wisconsin. And last night was just ugly period with not much of an identity to the win. Unless you consider “ugly” and identity for a basketball team. And in a technicality, I think only TJD and Franklin were the only “teenagers” that played last night. They are all adults at a major basketball program, and taking some heat is part of that. We should definitely put muscle everyone in the Big Ten. Hopefully that Wisconsin game was just a fluke and this team is ready to go to war every game now. And I don’t think that flagrant was frustration. Looked like an accident. I don’t think he would have helped him up if it were intentional. Davis actually played pretty well last night. He gets a lot of crap because he’s obviously pretty slow and limited athletically after all of the injuries, but the man can still do work in the paint. It is an odd year. I’m sure there will be a team or two that have 5 or less losses but they won’t be very dominate. Just the impact of the one and done rule and the emphasis on leaving early showing through about 15 years later. I actually think the breaking up of the Big East has hurt college basketball as teams like Pitt and Cuse have gotten worse overall since the breakup. Both had their honeymoon stages early and then it went poof. But it seems no one wants to talk about the impact that break up had. The one and done rule has done the most damage. Committee still wants to see a strong OOC resume. So sure we can get wins over Maryland, OSU, Michigan and Michigan State possibly. We play Michigan and MSU once a piece and the other 2 twice. We have plenty of chances at solid wins with a limited amount a great wins. As in, we have 7 games for a great win and we’ve already beaten FSU. Gotta take adavantage of 2-3 of the other 6.
