  1. That’s still a really bad loss. And could hurt them considering there will be some hair splitting between teams this season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. Nope. But people got butthurt because now you can have excuses for a Q3 win. So Purdue’s whoopin they took isn’t a bad loss because it’s a Big Ten Road game. But I’m sure they wouldn’t say the same if Purdue got whooped by FIU on the road(who is ranked one spot ahead of Nebraska in the NET rankings). There are now new meanings to Q3 losses because it’s the Big Ten. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. The rest of our rod games are Q1. There are no more “bad losses” on the road. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. Because I said a quad 3 loss wouldn’t have been good in more ways than one. And that the win doesn’t mean much because it’s still a quad 3 win. And if our best road win is a quad 3 road win, likely won’t help much. We really need another road win. 1 just isn’t good enough. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. I’m surprised Payne hasn’t left for another job yet. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  6. Cool. Nebraska is still awful. A quad 3 loss is a quad 3 loss but I guess now there are even excuses for that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  7. They will have to give any coach a lot of time before making Georgia decent. Reality is, they’ve never really been that good.. like ever. So it’s trying to kick start a program that’s never been. About like Indiana football. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. Well when you lose 12 of 13 so deep into the season, it’s like to happen. Didn’t help being 17-15 overall, 8-12 in conference and just looking terrible for the majority of the season. So it was no surprise. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  9. I don’t care what other teams do. I don’t want Indiana to have bad losses. Just because other teams do it, doesn’t mean we should accept it and move on. We’ve avoided having a bad loss on the schedule and that’s a good thing. Because losing to Nebraska would have been awful. And if we ended up on the wrong side of the bubble we’d all look at that loss as a big factor. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  10. Doesn’t mean it isn’t a bad loss. Quad 3 and 4 are very bad losses. We had to win that game. And now we don’t have to worry about having anything less than a Quad 2 loss. Remaining schedule: 8. Michigan State- Q1 15. Maryland- Q1 36. @Penn State- Q1 19. @Ohio State- Q1 35. Purdue- Q2 26. Iowa- Q1 29. @Michigan- Q1 41. @Minnesota- Q1 36. Penn State- Q2 35. @ Purdue- Q1 40. @Illinois- Q1 41. Minnesota- Q2 22. Wisconsin- Q1 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  11. How is a Quad 3 loss all of sudden not a bad loss? Of course that’s a bad loss. And this place would have went up in flames. Nebraska #168. The worst in the Big Ten. We couldn’t have a Quad 3 loss with the possibility of ending up on the bubble and the possibility of ending up on the backside of the bubble. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. Because relative to Belmont, that’s good for them. For us, it’s almost meaningless and was a must win because it would have been a horrible loss, in more ways than 1. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  13. People here will be mad if we only win 5 more games. Especially since we have 7 left at home. But we will really put that B1G home record to the test this coming week. And could really screw over the Big Ten some if we somehow went 2-0. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  14. Considering how mediocre college basketball is this season, we should make it, even with good mediocre we are. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  15. The committee isn’t going to care about our road win at Nebraska. We actually moved back from 47 to 49 in the NET rankings. And Nebraska is still a Quad 3 win, even on the road as they are ranked 168. Indiana has actually fallen back about 8 spots in the last week. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  16. It is even true for him. He just can’t be taking bad step back fade-away 3’s all the time. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  17. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  18. You hit 0% of the shots you don’t shoot. Gotta have some pride and try to hit it. Even Smith hit 1 tonight. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  19. We did hit 8 threes. Nebraska hit 9. They also shot 30. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  20. I think we would have done just fine with Green or Durham tonight. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  21. Well... that was better at times. Stressful at the end. Not really sure why Durham played today. But it’s a W. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  22. Too bad it’s so hard to win on the road because the referees normally favor the home team so heavily. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  23. Paoli could have made it to State last year but they went prevent and ended up losing. Was the first sectional title since 08. And Paoli hasn’t been to State finals since like 2000. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. Yet the numbers and media like them more. But they will be NIT bound. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  25. His name is Brett Bosley. I think he’s like 6-6 now. I remember when he was just a little kid when I was in HS. This year they played Linton Stockton who they lost to last year, in what’s basically the Sweet 16, after a late game collapse. They lost to them this season in the first game by 9 and to Forest Park by 1. I’m not sure which sectional Blackford is in and where they could meet up in the state tourney this season. I think Paoli is in sectional 40 at Crawford. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
