And what about the talent around that kid? They had a roster of 9 freshmen, 2 sophomores, 1 Junior, 3 Seniors. I couldn’t imagine the amount of excuse making there would be made for Archie if he had a roster like that. “We were really young” Or the infamous, “He doesn’t have his recruits” It’s going to take Crean 3-5 years to get anything resembling a program there. You have to be real with yourself. When Crean has a roster that fit, we were good. His problem was consistency. But those 11-12, 12-13, 15-16 teams were 3 of the top 4-5 seasons we’ve had over the last 25 years. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

The style of play is the conferences fault. They want trashy basketball. The Big Ten just isn’t full of stars. At least none that the media and social media care about. Last year there was Winston and Garza but they weren’t exactly the most exciting to watch. But the Big Ten doesn’t allow or want the floor to open up for athletes to be athletes.
