Archie is going to have a lot of decisions to make though on playing time. Hunter and Thompson will need more minutes. Will Smith play the 3 or 4? Will Brunk play 20 minutes a game again and start? I think you are probably right about this. A five star-point guard who can do more off the dribble than anyone else on the team is going to get substantial playing time. Lander will have to put on some weight to make it through the grueling Big Ten season, however. If he can put on 10-20 pounds then he will be in good shape as a freshman. Just some interesting stats... Wisconsin has beat us 29 times since 2000 and Indiana still holds an 82-41 since 49’-50’. We’ve beaten Northwestern the most of any opponent where we are 92-27 since 49’-50’. We have a losing record to 24 schools since 49’-50’. Texas Rio Grand Valley, Northern Iowa, Ole Miss, Miami(FL), Loyola(MD), Lipscomb, Cleveland State, Clemson we are 0-1 against each. Wake Forest and Villanova we are 0-3 against each. Those are the only 10 teams we haven’t been since then. We are 1-5 against Syracuse. 1-3 against Boston College. 3-7 against Duke. 1-2 against Wichita State, IPFW, Pepperdine and Colorado. 3-6 against UCLA and UConn. 19-30 against Kentucky. 2-3 against Arkansas. 6-8 against Maryland. 7-8 against Louisville. 8-9 against Missouri.
