  1. Zach Hicks to Penn State. Sent from my SM-S327VL using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. Oh there was a dude. Davis 2nd year at IU.. Just happened to be Pitinos 1st year at Louisville. With any sort of effort and care to win, Indiana could have had him and been elite without any doubt. Probably even a title or two or 3. He built something great at Kentucky, even got Tubby a title with what he built. Sent from my SM-S327VL using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. Or.. there was this dude who is a HOF coach we probably could have gotten. Sent from my SM-S327VL using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. I actually watched the season highlights from the 15-16 season. One thing I noticed, Zeisloft, Hartman, Yogi, Johnson were shooting often with guys closing out on them. They were always ready to shoot. A hand in the face was whatever. If there was any space at all, they were shooting. I noticed under Archie and Woodson that guys aren't ready to shoot and shot fake if anyone is coming at them to contest. How many times did we see Kopp shot fake when he could have shot? He's 6-8, there weren't a ton of dudes going to block his shot. But it's as if they are coached to not shoot unless they are WIDE open. Really doesn't make anyone a threat as shooters because there is always a defender close enough to make our guys second guess, rather than just letting it fly when they have the space.
  5. It's okay y'all. Plenty of other fish in the sea and remember... We have a dude on the roster that can contribute at the 3 next year. KALEB BANKS. Other that... Here is a short of of 3s we can go after, whether we will or not... Don't know, don't care. Have some faith y'all. RaeQuan Battle(Montana State)- 6-5, 190. Averaged 17.7ppg, 2.9 rpg, 35.3% 3pt on 4.3 attempts, 83.3% FT on 4.1 attempts. Explosive athlete. Zach Hicks(Temple)- 6-7, 185. Averaged 9.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 35.6% 3pt on 7.0 attempts. Really nice looking shot and consistent. Myron Gardner(Little Rock)- 6-6, 222. Averaged 13.2ppg, 9.1rpg, 3.6apg, 35.6% 3pt on 3.5 attempts, 75.5% FT on 3.5 attempts. Philmon Gebrewhit(DePaul)- 6-7, 185. Averaged 5.8 points, 2.1rpg, 37.2% 3pt on 3.0 attempts (27% year before on 2.8 attempts). Reminds me a little of CJ Gunn. Very energetic jumpshot. Sean Conway(VMI)- 6-5, 215. Averaged 12.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 37.8% 3pt on 5.7 attempts. He'd be your Andrew Funk or even what we had in Zeisloft maybe. That's just some optimistic Loaded Chicken Sandwich with a slice of optimism on it. (I'll share links to YouTube videos for each)
  6. What's going on at Arizona State? They give Hurley an extension(for whatever reason) and 8 dudes hit the portal.
  7. Maybe he's great at fouling?
  8. As a Heat(and Pacers fan)... The one thing that kills me about Spo, he falls in love too much with the "underdogs." Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, Max Stroud, Duncan Robinson etc. It's burnt the Heat a lot the last several years. On the court and financially; i.e. Duncan Robinson and Tyler Johnson. I'm fine with Strus playing. Somewhat fine with Vincent playing. But Caleb Martin getting minutes over Oladipo? Nah. And then Duncan Robinson getting minutes over Oladipo yesterday with Herro going down? Nah. Something more behind the scenes is going on. That's absolute garbage for him to not be getting minutes.
  9. They are equatable situations.
  10. Well if the kid left without looking into Butler or visiting, that's his fault. See ya.
  11. I wouldn't care. Pack your bags.
  12. His ceiling is an All-B1G player. Same for Furst. But we don't know what they'll do with Edey gone. Maybe Edey held them back.
  13. If I'm a coach, I'm saying bye. As soon as your name hits the portal, your spot is getting filled by someone else.
  14. Yup. And apparently North Carolina and Louisville are gaining traction. And if Louisville does, they might win 18 games.
  15. Catchings won a title with the Fever too right?
  16. Because things like this just don't happen often. It's rare in basketball. Football is a different story. But in basketball it just isn't a big thing. I know people were getting stoked or whatever about it, but it wasn't going to happen.
