  1. I have paid attention to the Fever a bit since Sides was hired and she just doesn't seem like a good fit. She always seems to be trying too hard or in over her head. She seems to be over coaching, like she's coaching high school kids. It's hard to put my finger on it, but she just doesn't seem likable or relatable or maybe respected by the players? I haven't watched enough to know for sure but it's just the vibe I get. I'm not one to immediately point fingers at the coach when things go sideways, but they should be better than they are and now she seems to be making excuses, pointing fingers and getting defensive. That being said, the roster construction of this team over the past few years has been terrible. How many high picks have come and gone? I know it's a lot different in the WNBA. Regardless, now that they've got some pieces to build on, they need a big time coach. I'm sure they're chomping at the bit to go there too.
  2. Wayne, Carroll, and North Side have been decent at times the past 10 seasons. Problem with high school (like college) these days is kids can pick their schools. So it's hard to keep teams together. FW area has always been an up and down. IU has never recruited that area well for whatever reason. PU and Painter have.
  3. So you're saying his nickname isn't Indiana University Hoosier Hitman?
  4. Not just consistent but our BEST players. This whole style of play narrative is really kind of taken a life of it's own. Some based in reality, some based on fantasy. IU needs to shoot more 3's. But they don't have to be Alabama. Statistically speaking, of the teams with the highest % of points from 3's, BYU, Creighton, Charleston, and Dayton were in the tourney. I agree that IU needs to play more interchangeable/smaller lineups with our best "shooters" but not at the expense of our best players. We weren't beating anyone with the three with the roster we had. We just needed (and have gotten) better guard talent. I think this will help a lot. I also think the team is pointed in the right direction and I am not some Woody apologist. He needs to do better. The roster needed to be better.
  5. He's also one of the first who posted that he was in the portal.
  6. There are plenty to take if you're not afraid.
  7. Yeah, and that social media argument was pretty weak to be honest. Something has definitely changed.
  8. Chickens get big through pharma.
  9. A three day visit and a 1.2M offer on the table (supposedly) is snoozing?
  10. If only it was that simple.
  11. I know nothing of this process, but I assume players are going to setup more than one visit simply to play the schools NILs against one another. It's free agency.
  12. https://theathletic.com/4765841/2023/08/15/trilly-donovan-college-basketball-twitter/ This is kind of old.
  13. I don't think Trilly is one guy from what I recall. I could be wrong.
  14. Isn't this just an arbitrary tier system based on opinion? We have no idea if Small is truly interested. Seems like tier ones are players that are visiting.
  15. It's pretty stupid to talk **** about him too just because he didn't show out at an exhibit. McNeely's a good prospect. I just prefer not to dwell on the fact that he bolted especially after getting another recruit who may or may not be better but has a lot of upside as well.
  16. Two of them in this tweet:
  17. It would be more comical to me to see Liam get drilled.
  18. They did not play together. But I would guess they have met on a recruiting visit.
  19. Gotcha. Thanks for the info.
