This is usually when Chris007 pops in with a weather forecast. Given his absence and the fact that it appears Marquette has basically told him he can do whatever he wants next year, I’m not too hopeful on this recruitment.

I doubt they’d have coaches fly from out of state just to tell them he isnt coming

Hopefully the Garcias already have good jobs, a house with a yard, and a Lexus. I doubt they want a tractor.

I wasn’t really on this particular board until 2-3 years ago but that doesn’t surprise me. A previous poster was correct when they said that IU is tight-lipped on recruiting matters. I was a student from 06-11’ and knew one of the team managers pretty well. Players would come by his place on a regular basis and recruiting was something nobody was really willing to discuss.

FWIW, I’ve been a member on multiple boards over the last decade+ and there have only been two “insiders” that I’ve ever put stock into. One is on this board (Chris007) and the other was, I believe, on the Scout site years ago. I think his handle was Birdman and as far as I know he hasn’t posted under that name anywhere in quite some time. There could be others but I kind of stopped following recruiting for a time during Crean’s tenure. It was too difficult trying to follow all the players holding IU offers.

The #2 team in the nation is losing to Evansville right now and you’re freaking out while we have a lead after playing Anderson more minutes in a half than he’ll likely see in most games lol

We literally haven’t even seen the lineup that will start for Indiana most of this season...

Bingo. The majority of the lineups we’ve seen over the past 3 games will likely never be on the floor against stiff competition.

Man people need to chill. Anderson played about 10 minutes that half and he’s the fifth best guard on our team. North Alabama has been unconscious from 3. Our best players have hardly been on the floor simultaneously. And we still have the lead.

This is pretty much where I’m at.

I’m not sure the thought of Green being a top scoring option is much more comforting tbh

I know this was just a scrimmage, but it lost this game. We were -12 on FTs in a 3 point loss. It becomes even more concerning when you take into consideration the fact that Miller's half-court offense is similar to Crean's in that its geared toward getting to the line. Doesn't really do much good when you cant hit the d*** free throws...

Know what’s really sad? I read an article about Night at the Phog or whatever their event is called and apparently it featured a video where Bill Self was wearing an adidas shirt with a gold chain and dollar sign pendant. He might as well have given the NCAA the middle finger and I’d bet my next paycheck that the NCAA gives them a light slap on the wrist, if that.

If he legitimately thinks Matt Painter is arguably the best coach in the NCAA I’m a little concerned about the impact he’d have on our APR lol
