That was hands down the most embarrassed I’ve been as an IU fan -

The Achilles heel of this scheme is giving up 3s. If they start hitting em we may be in trouble -

I just don’t understand how we can look good against Duke and ND but s*** the bed against teams like ISU and IPFW -

Apparently now our guards think they’re Steph Curry. Davis should be able to dominate the post and were jacking threes -

(2018) PG Darius Garland to Vandy

You'll have to excuse me. I work in corrections and spent 4 years working at a prison in Indiana. Most of my encounters with individuals from Gary weren't what you would call positive. -

Anderson is a good shooter? Serious question; I've never seen him play. -

I was thinking more like $20 lol. Im not THAT confident about a decision from a kid I don't know. -

Don't know about the other poster but I'm dead serious. I don't know what the mods will say about it but if it's a problem we could say loser makes a donation to the alumni association? -

Name an amount and offer me odds. Chances of them going elsewhere or splitting is greater than both ending up at Vandy so I'm not going to bet it straight up. -

I hate to be a pessimist about this, but if I were putting my money down, I'd be betting that Garland and Langford both end up at Vandy at this point. I hope I'm wrong but Langford putting Vandy in his top 3 pretty much killed any hopes I had at getting them. -

Where have I heard this before...lol Im not about to judge the coach off one game so I'd say 1980 is wrong there, but he's right about 2 things: No fire and we got hammered by a less talented team. -

Nope, just a very pessimistic Hoosier. He's posted on HSN and it's predecessors for some time. -

I would if I still lived in Indiana. I'm in South Florida where unfortunately nobody gives a **** about basketball. -

Probably should've worded it more clearly, but that's a composite total for all 4 games. Just conjecture, but I'd be willing to bet there wouldn't be much difference if we went back to single class basketball. Still, last year's 4A game had an attendance of 14,000+ -

Well there's no denying this. Vandy was 45th in the country in attendance last year with an average of around 9,600. That's barely enough to fill up New Castle Fieldhouse. The SEC Championship game drew 20,000 last year, which is 2,000 less than the lowest recorded attendance for the Indiana State High School Championships. -

I understand wanting family close now but I sure didn't when I was 18 lol. I could've saved a looot of money and gotten the same degree by staying home and going to IUPUI but I couldn't wait to get out on my own. -

The biggest issue I see with losing a recruit to Vandy is that their coach is from Indiana and will likely be going head to head with CAM for a lot of recruits in the near future. It just isn't a precedent I want to see set, ESPECIALLY with an Indiana player (if he were to land Langford). Aside from that, and I hate to sound like the Kentucky fans, but there's no reason we should be losing top recruits to schools like Vanderbilt. I like Drew and it's a very good school, but these kids want to play in the NBA. Vandy can't match our fan base, our tradition, our facilities, or our exposure. From a basketball perspective, it just shouldn't happen. Garland would be understandable with it being his home, but nobody else makes sense. I mean, when was the last time you heard "Man, I can't wait to see Vandy take it to Alabama on the court this weekend!"
