  1. I’m heading home now and can’t see the game at the moment. Descriptive posts would be greatly appreciated!!!
  2. I said in another thread that I thought Green would start over Phinisee next year with Phinisee right on his heels. I’d like to recant that statement.
  3. Of course I say that and Hartman clanks one
  4. Naturally we can count on the Indiana native to knock down both FTs
  5. IIRC, the ball and the the feet have to cross the line for it to be over and back. The ball never crossed.
  6. Ahh ok, I couldn’t remember when exactly he transferred.
  7. Screw it, this is the kind of game where we could put in Jaeger (SP?) and probably not lose much. Maybe Vijay?
  8. It’s actually up to 4 if you count the half-court heave. Two threes and the floater also.
  9. I like the optimism, but we may need to say first to 35...
  10. Ugh I’m tired of trying to defend Green. Major step back this year and now he can’t even hit the rim.
  11. I feel like I’m watching a Wisconsin game...
  12. It means they’re actually developing an understanding of how to play basketball.
  13. Well, I’m all fairness, they had years of a previous coach telling them to just charge the basket as hard as possible. Passing is a new concept for them.
  14. Two air balls from Green smh. What is up with him lately?
  15. That was the first look I’ve had at the balcony. Can’t remember the last time I saw it that empty. It wasn’t even that bad in Creans first 3 years.
  16. The ball movement really hasn’t been terrible...we just can’t shoot worth a damn and we’ve passed up some open looks.
  17. I’ll be surprised if he isn’t back after halftime. You can play on that injury, but he’ll be in some pain tomorrow.
  18. Well at least Langford knows he’ll have zero competition for playing time...
  19. The score is 3-3 after 5 minutes?! Good lord
  20. I’m guessing this means that South FL isn’t the only region getting stuck with the NFL post game show?
  21. Awesome! And bed rest is a great time to work on your shooting form! 75% from the stripe next year :D
  22. Whoops, looks like you’re right. I misread the original post (or it was edited) and didn’t see the part saying that the good was because of the bad. Someone on a game thread made the comment during the game that Green was sitting on the bench twiddling his thumbs after he got benched for that 10 second call. His disinterest in the game and then my original interpretation of the post in this thread was starting to concern me. I’m just holding out hope that everything clicks with him because he has a lot of potential.
  23. I’m sure someone will slam me for saying this, but I’m not sure I like hearing that he considers missing practice a good thing... I feel like Oladipo would say “Well the bad thing is that I had to miss practice but luckily it gave me some extra time in the film room.” That being said, I wish him a speedy recovery. I still think Green has the potential to be a special player.
  24. I’m not expecting a Duke/Kentucky level of performance from our freshmen because it just isn’t that kind of talent, but I do think it’s a great foundation and the type of team we’ll be proud to call Hoosiers. A bunch of guys with McRoberts’ heart and the talent to match playing disciplined basketball. Forrester is the only one that I’m not expecting much from. I just think he’ll be in the bottom of our rotation for most of his career and hopefully give some role player minutes toward the end. My only concern is the unbalanced roster but that usually works itself out through transfers or early entries to the NBA. If we get Langford, he’s probably gone after a year or two if we’re lucky. I could see Hunter becoming an early-entry guy as well. Throw in the inevitable transfer or two and the classes start to even out.
