Tech came into the game looking to shut down our transition and post offense. They were forcing us to shoot and we were hitting. They’re not giving up those shots this half and we’re having trouble getting it in low, particularly with the double teams. Edit: My bad mods. I meant to type “shut” but I’ve been drinking a bit

I just doubt Archie wants to risk it at all. I’m sure he remembers what happened when we lost Rob last year.

He hasn’t been starting or getting starting minutes because he’s had a lingering abdominal issue.

Does it matter enough to risk a long term injury for your starting point guard?

After last year’s slew of injuries I feel like Archie is holding guys out primarily as a precautionary measure. My guess is that Rob would probably be dressed if Miller felt he was critical for this game.

I’m on the opposite end with this one. I’m pretty optimistic and I think this is a game where we open some eyes.

It’s not like it’s limited to the examples I named. See the previous post out Louisville. Pretty sure Gonzaga was given a good game by a low major the other night. So on and so forth. It’s pretty common literally every year.

I REALLY wish someone get Green tonstop shooting floaters. Seriously. 4 years of watching him take those and I’m fairly certain he’s never hit a single one.

It’s a tune up game. These games happen to a lot of really good teams. We scored 58 points in the first half of our last game but apparently now we’re trash lol.

UK got beat by Eville. The were tested by Utah Valley a couple nights ago. Kansas only managed a 12 pt win against Eastern Tennessee State. These things happen early in the season. Chill

I’d be more concerned if this was the norm thru the first 5 games but that’s not the case. Princeton is desperate for a win and all of these smaller teams come to venues like AH with their best effort. I’d rather we face some adversity now than go into our first game against a high major with nothing but a string of blowouts behind us. That said, I do expect us to expand the lead out past 20 in the second half.
