Let me first point out that I’m pretty sure every player on this current roster is eligible next season and please don’t assume at this point what a player or players may do about the NBA...regardless we won’t have a 0 man class next year which means decisions will be made. To win a national championship and be a consistently great team tough decisions need to be made...even if that means making room for a better player...and I’m not even necessarily talking about Brooks. What happens if we’re in on a couple really good ‘22 prospects that want to play for CMW and IU? Are we going to say...”sorry, you’re a great player and would be a better option but we don’t want to hurt any feelings, we don’t have enough room for you and we’re worried that a few bloggers may think our optics will look bad to others.” That’s ridiculous and the answer to that question is a resounding NO. CMW will do what’s best for this team and choose players who he thinks give this team the best chance to bring us back to the Final Four.

There are reports that Terrence Clarke out of Kentucky got in a serious car accident and may have been killed today. He had just declared for the draft. I hope these reports aren’t true. Prayers to him and his family.

Brooks has incredible upside and is a potential player who can have a long career in the NBA. To think otherwise is naive. For those that are saying he isn’t that good...what makes you think he can’t improve? Do you not trust CMW to improve his game and possibly help Brooks reach his full potential like so many other NBA players he’s done? I know, I do. Brooks is another weapon with huge upside. I’m taking him.

Maybe the roster is completely set...but how do we know the roster is completely set? How do we know CMW is recruiting "everyone" to stay? Listen, I don't have the slightest idea if Brooks is coming or going or entering the NBA draft....What I do know for sure is who is coming back to Indiana --based on player's social media post announcements-- which will make for an incredibly fun year....I'm also for advising someone to go elsewhere to play more minutes (if they weren't recruited to stay) if it means bettering the program.

He wouldn't force someone out if he convinced that particular person to stay...but we don't know if he convinced everyone to stay...With new coaches coming and going players are advised to go elsewhere all the time. This is nothing new.

Let me clarify....I would take all those three. In terms of our next coach...not sure - but I bet IU knows.

I wouldn't expect Beilein. I think our next coach is currently in the NCAA tournament...not named Beard, Mussleman or Drew.

I would love Beard..., and a lot people...including Vegas... think we will land either him, Mussleman or Drew since they seem to be all top targets. Maybe my mind will change but at this moment I don't think we get any of those three.

I don't know specifics...other than we were looking good and now it's changed. I hope I'm wrong. We'll see if the insiders here will stick to their predictions
