    We struggled vs Young without X in our first game last year because of Jahmir’s quickness and strength. Not saying we will lose, but this is a game I would prefer a healthy X.

    Maybe so but it's worth checking. See if there's any mutual interest between IU and Leipold, if there's not, then it is a moot point. However, if there is interest, Dolson can "sell the vision" to the donors and the money may follow.

    I'm not sure what the hype is on Candle. To me, that's a settle. He literally fits the very definition or negative narrative of what IU football would and has gone after - the "up and coming MAC coach." IMO, it's time to take the next step. We have money...and I think we need and can do better. Leipold from Kansas would be someone I would look at...make money not an issue.

    Mgbako has quality length. Let's not right him off. It's very obvious he has some learning to do regarding the game. It's Woodson's job to teach him. I suspect he will get better as the days progress. His ceiling is high, and if he reaches his potential it makes us better.
