    So, in theory he could be playing in college at 26. We seem to be seeing more and more of that.

    Yup...further proven by CDD tempo last year. It was slower than he typically likes to play. Why? because he didn't feel like he had the necessary shooters to play a high tempo offense. CDD wants to score within the first 12 seconds of the shot clock. They didn't do that last year. This year, it seems we're much closer to what style CDD wants to play.

    Bailey is more of a hybrid - he can play forward and center, if we elect to go small. I do tend to agree, that If we're expecting Bailey to be our primary center throughout the whole season, then we better score over 90 + points a game to have a chance of winning. Ultimately, CDD will get a rim protector who will be more of a true center in the sense.

    Unless I'm looking at it wrong, I added Drake and he didn't make much of a difference...only 1 spot in the rankings....Federiko was a different story...we add him and there was an 8 spot differential under the rank. I hope we get him. 7'4" wingspan would be great.

    That would be awesome, but I'm not so sure. For sure Tucker DeVries...but Goode had a good shooting percentage at the high major level. Lets see if some of these same shooting numbers remain steady at the high major level for some of our new transfers that came from the low/mid major level.

    Seems like a solid depth piece. Always a risk grabbing low majors but I’m sure CDD has done his due diligence in scouting these players. Im cautiously optimistic he will make the adjustments in the Big Ten.

    Any word on Federiko? Seems like we're going after him. He would be our center/rim protector. Does anyone know what his wingspan is? Doesn't seem to be a huge offensive threat, but if the other 4 positions are, then it seems like he's there more for defensive purposes -- which is what we need.

    Thiam would be a great Center for obvious reasons. He's on my wishlist.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think CDD envisions Bailey as a true center.

    And we’ll continue to rise. Due to lack of roster size the futurecast is using Rayford, Ian Stephens and Zrno (no longer committed) as contributors. They use a minimum of 10 contributors which is why those 3 are there. Obviously they will be replaced with much better players.

    Is he? Why do we have a thread that says he's committed? He might make it official...but the thread that says he's committed is frankly confusing considering I thought he had committed when I initially read it, only to find out he's not and visiting elsewhere. - particularly if he's making visits elsewhere. Let's not count our eggs before they hatch..

    Trilly still saying his sources are confident we land Wilkerson. He trusts these sources too. I hope they’re right! Edit - actually said both sides are confident.

    I’m a DeVries fan. I’ve made it very clear since he was hired. But people can express their opinions…and if they’re concerned. Who cares? They have the right to be. IUBB hasn’t necessarily given anyone confidence the last 20 years. You’re welcome to, but it’s really not necessary to remark on every comment that expresses concern or frustration.
