Man, for a team that wants to play inside-out, we can't hit anything inside today. ... If not for our outside shooters, we'd be getting crushed.

I wonder if Race was told to not shoot any more 3s. ... I've seen him wide open several times right outside the arc and he won't take it. ... He's made a couple from distance -- missed quite a few, too ... But I say if you're wide open like that, shoot. ... Don't want Joey or TJD or De'Ron doing that, but Race has shown the ability to hit those.

These announcers are acting like Lunardi actually will pick the NCAA field ... He's just making his best guess -- and he's not always right.

Was just about to say that PU was hanging tough with Maryland -- then the Twerps go on a 9-2 run to take a 12-point lead. The PUs look as if they're running out of gas.

PU holds off Michigan State, plays Maryland at noon tomorrow. Next up: Bucky and Rutgers. Winner gets us at about 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Wonder where we'd be had we not let the Ohio State, Northwestern and Iowa games slip away. ... Obviously, I have not seen every game this season, but I've seen as many as I can -- but when you look back at our schedule, we have those three games that we lost and should have won. We really don't have any wins in games that we probably should have lost. Would love to think if we beat Rutgers/Wisconsin that we could give the Twerps a run, but I just don't see it happening. They crushed us in College Park and once they made up that 10-point deficit, they more or less controlled us as the game wore on in B-town.

Updated bracket. Wisconsin and Illinois won "play-in" games yesterday. Bucky plays Rutgers this afternoon with the winner playing us tomorrow afternoon.

Brian Butch, according to Wikipedia (which is never wrong!!!) is 6-11. And he was easily an inch taller than Brunk. So Butch is either 7-foot or Brunk is 6-10.

We don't have a whole lot of depth, so I'm hoping the rest from the double bye proves beneficial ... Am hoping we can get past Rutgers (likely), get another shot at Maryland and take care of business this time!

I hope by "one of those nights" you mean 5 or 6 3-pointers, 3-4 assists, only 1-2 turnovers and 25-27 points. Not 1 for 7 on 3s, 6 turnovers, 0 assists and 7 points. LOL!

Damezi is stuck at the end of the bench, really struggles to perform when he's in there and by most estimations, will be gone at the end of the season via transfer. Will there be a Damezi affect with this kid? In other words, since Damezi was such a "bust," will that leave a sour taste in the Riley folks' minds when it comes to IU?
