  1. How does anyone know that?
  2. If there’s any thought to go on the Brownell route, I would say just give the job to Jordan Hulls
  3. lol… sounds like his day is mostly consumed with watching film and being a coach… great idea!

  5. Well, maybe there in lies the problem with coaching at Indiana (if true) and maybe that needs to change. We don’t need a coach being concerned with being the face of Indiana and schmoozing boosters, etc. as much as we need him to focus on doing his job, which is recruiting/coaching basketball and winning games.
  6. Tks for the rundown, but I disagree with the part about “the coach at Indiana needs to be a salesman/politician”. That’s way overblown imo. What we need is a coach who knows basketball and can infuse enthusiasm based on substance…no more bulls#%# snake oil used car salesman crap.
  7. I wonder why that article says he has a small buyout?
  8. I would say that there seems to be a theme that binds coaches like McCollum and Stevens together is the fact that I believe that they are very gifted (savant like) in being able to evaluate talent, and like he said in that one video, it is recruiting the right type of kids with the right attitude/IQ/toughness intangibles that (along with good coaching) win championships. I don’t believe these type of coaches come along very often. BK was still able to win big for a decent part of his career at Indiana with lesser talent and a bunch of Juco transfers … but those guys all fit his system.
  9. He would be the most Cig like higher I can think of
  10. Why would he care about softening our blow?
  11. I sure hope it’s Brad, but I would say that Ben McCollum dude sure does know him some basketball. The fighting Dustys are sure on a skid, yikes!
  12. Ye with little faith..lol
  13. Big deal, times change..duh
  14. The way Ya is pacing the sidelines I think he might be coaching waiting.
  15. And I only root for Indiana, lol. I hope it’s not for lack of resources because she definitely deserves all that she needs
  16. Next year has a chance to be worse than this year depending on what she can pull out of the portal. Losing Sydney and Chloe and Striplin is going to hit hard and I’m not sure why we ever thought Lily was going to turn into a great post player because she just doesn’t have the size when you come up against these bigger teams nor the skill set. She can do pretty good against the lesser teams, but Terry is going to have to figure this out if she’s gonna want to make deep runs in the tournament on a consistent basis. She typically never plays freshman and there are a lot of teams that recruit freshman that are ready to play decent minutes so I think that she is a great coach, but her Achilles heel is recruiting and I hope she or she can find somebody to come in and help figure that out.
  17. Teams like UConn build their winning culture and then keep adding to it every year to become a national powerhouse, but we can’t ever seem to do that for one year. We’re always good to really good but never great..

  19. OK, well my question would be why is it taking her so long to get all those pieces together?
  20. I don’t understand why we have trouble landing those type of players with all the success Terry has had and her great reputation…baffling.
  21. Laméndola certainly hasn’t progressed much
  22. Hopefully at some point Terry can get over the recruiting hump, she deserves it.
  23. Terry is really gonna have to knock it out of the park in the portal this year. They need to start funneling some of that donor money to the women’s side.
